My bald head thanks you! The synthetic material used on my Sennheiser HD 800’s started to disintegrate and would stain my head. This lamb skin pad is more comfortable, fits perfectly and leaves my shiny scull clean, bravo for the price too!

The headband fits perfectly for my HD 800S headphones. Snaps in exactly as it should. Very plush and soft material.

Unlike most people, I didn't get these to renew an old HD800. I got it for a new/open-box HD800s seeking improved comfort (fixing the pretty well known pressure point that arises for most people from the stock headband after prolonged use).The two main issues with the stock headband are that the padding is rather thin and flat, meaning that it has to rest at a very specific angle relative to your head to be comfortable. This part addresses that quite nicely as it's both slightly rounded and slightly softer. It's no ZMF pad, but it's far sleeker-looking and cheaper.The issue is that the dimensions are VERY slightly different than the stock headband. Not enough that it doesn't fit like some reviewers seem to think, but enough that it's quite a bit harder to snap on than the originals. Once it's actually on though, it doesn't have any issues with coming off.

My HD800s (not HD 800 S) are now 19 years old and while the sound remained excellent, the fabric headband pad was pretty worn offering little in the way of cushioning from the metal part of headband. In addition, the attachment points for the fabric headband (not a good design feature of the HD 800 series) were worn and the pad routinely disengaged from the metal headband. This sheepskin replacement has resulted in a major improvement in comfort and listening. The attachment is a challenge but the seller provided video offers some good tips to get the new headband to seat.

Very comfortable replacement for the original. Slightly more padding and more porous so it can breath. Allows for longer wear time.

My HD 800s are the best headphones I've personally owned and I'm very particular about them since I use custom equalizer profiles for them. I was more than happy to find out that this product not only met my quality expectations, but actually felt like an upgrade to what was already an amazing product. It does exactly what you want without impacting performance in a negative way, what more do you want.

The item is a good quality but impossible to install it to my HD 800 headphones.I bought a similar one from another company and its fit perfect.

Clicks in really easy and stays on steady; feels great and is a major upgrade to the worn-down one that came with the original headphones! The next part of course is seeing how long this replacement lasts, but the prospects for now seem good, as the padding is quite thick.

Someone else in these reviews gave the tip to extend the ears all the way down before trying to attach this, and let me reinforce that as a really, really good suggestion, which will make installation infinitely less frustrating. Since installing them with that tip a few weeks ago, the band has remained perfectly stable in place.I'd be generous reviewing *any* kind of replacement of the original headband, since it's just nice to have access to one, but I think this is more than merely a passable replacement. It feels really nice to the touch and it looks more premium than the original headband. Comfort wise while wearing it, it's not really any different. These headphones sit so lightly on my head that they'd probably still be comfortable even if the headband was made out of spikes.

This is a great replacement for the original headband which deteriorated over time.Fits perfectly and a lovely feel too

Se fixe mal sur l'arceau du HD800.Niveau qualité on est pas du tout au niveau du bandeau d'origine et le confort n'est pas idéal.
