Metra70-1731 Wiring Harness for 2016 and Up Honda Civic LX

The 32 pin connector that comes with the kit mates to the amplifier connection on the 2007-2013 Acura MDX, which is why I purchased this product. After re-pinning the wires according to the pinout diagram, everything works perfectly!

Very easy to install on my hrv

2019 Honda Civic LX install was a partial failure even after buying ASWC-1 (supposedly for steering wheel controls and 12v to 6v converter, to retain the factory reverse camera. I had to ask a local auto stereo shop where the reverse signal wire is to help me get the factory camera to work because the harness DID NIT SUPPORT THE REVERSE CAMERA, Contrary to description. My other complaint is that the STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS AREN’T WORKING. Too late to turn back now so I installed it and left it as is to come back to when I figure it out when I do my next install (2020 Honda Civic LX ). Very disappointed with the lack of instructions to help. And no description of the pin out for the ASWC connector! This has been very frustrating! Close but no cigar. Christmas gift for my sons and I hate that it partially works. Connected to Pioneer 1770NEX stereo. I’ll get it working with the second vehicle, but not using this wire harness.

this unit works with a 2017 Honda Civic LX. I was able to wire up an aftermarket radio. You will still need an adapter for AM/FM radio antenna.

I don't have prime but this arrived earlier than expected and product was as described. Actually I just bought it because the harness didnt have the Pink wire for the "hands free" steering wheel control connector so thanks to Metra I have to de-pin a connector and re-pin it back into the first one I purchased because they didn't feel it was a good idea for some reason... FYI you need the pink wire and a couple others for the 19 Civic Sport for the steering wheel controls. You can also splice into this wire but Metra highly recommends you do not. You are welcome.

This is a physical mate to the 2nd Gen Acura MDX amplifier connection, with the caveat that you will need to use a small screwdriver to rearrange the wires/pins to match the MDX pins. But once you do that you will have a connection for your factory preamp and you won't need to cut into the original harness.

This works great but not with a backup camera - if you need to keep this function you need the more expensive backup interface from the same company! Save yourself the headache!
