This is a lovely little guide to basic associations with a few good spells and recipes within. If you are looking for an in-depth guide to wicca and the history of pagan practices, this is not the book for you. There isn't even a guide to the sesaons or sabbats. However, as a beginner's minimalist reference guide, it's good, considering the more extensive books I own are enormous. This book fits in my purse! They are also good at providing disclaimers regarding free will and the dangers of toxic crystals in crystal water recipes.

Good book and very interesting

I am thrilled with this book. I am not a witch but I like rituals, crystals, the moon , holistic health, protection jars etc so this is right up my alley. I love the solidness of this book, the pretty illustrations, the paper, the herb and flower properties- it’s just delightful- I love it! I am confused by the one star reviews -This is listed as a beginner good witch guide. It doesn’t seem that it’s for an experienced , seasoned partitioner of witchcraft. I guess it just depends what your looking for. Definitely not a book of shadows. Light and airy. Thanks ladies I love it!

This book is simply adorable! I purchased it as a Christmas gift for a close friend who is Wiccan and she seemed to really like it! There are different spells or potions and teachings inside and it seems to hold a lot of information! The book is sturdy, compact and beautiful! I myself am not Wiccan but the book was so cute, I almost feel like getting one for myself just to look through it and see what it's all about. The pages are beautifully printed and the small size means you can keep it just about everywhere or bring it with you whenever you go somewhere. I wish I would have thought to take pictures of it but let me just say, if you are looking for a book with a lot of information packed into a small size, you have to get this book! Did I mention that it's adorable? I love the little artistic effects on the pages, be they drawings or just designs in the corner, it is very well done! Super good purchase!
