Can this be used in the oven, or only on the stove top?

While I've not cooked with it in the oven I have preheated my Le Creuset skillet in the oven (450 degrees) before placing on stovetop to grill steaks... works great. It is cast iron construction so the heat of the oven should be no problem. Hope this helps.

I don’t have that particular style, but I do have two Le Creuset griddles. I use them to sear steaks and pork chops at a pretty high heat and then finish them in the oven.
