I purchased it to sharpen the blades on my Apple Corer. I wasn't sure what size I needed and decided this little set would give me options. It was somewhat awkward at first using the file, but that was more to do with the object I was sharpening and trying to get the file at the right angle. After a few tries, I was able to get into a groove and get the blade sharpened.

Tried those "diamond" ones... nope! This one is the best mini file I could find. Very happy with it.

I dropped one on a wood floor and it snapped

I've been using This product for about 2 days now and the results I'm getting are exactly what I was looking for. It allows me to work on my wooden cones and get into those tight spaces and make them look worthy enough to buy.

The file finish is not very rough & doesn't last very long. OK for one easy job, maybe.

I mostly work on copper brass and bronze, these files are holding up well and they're still nice and sharp after I'd estimate 20 hours of use.
