Pretty firm spring.
My mobility scooter arm rest had become looser than when new so it kept falling at times when I wanted it to stay up. The factory friction was a plastic washer & there was no way to adjust it. I got some wave washers of the correct size from a large industrial supply (M-M-----C---). But they were way too thin to provide enough friction. These are of thicker steel. I had planned on sandwiching a couple together, but these are thicker & stiff enough that only one gave the desired results. I love it when a plan comes together!

They were too small.Needed for a product that was shipped to me w/o the proper number of washers.

Didn’t look like the photo
I thought that these would have a sheen to them but instead they have a powder coating. I’m using them to make jewelry! Lol! Oh well I can find a way to use them…. Maybe I’ll try coating them with lacquer….

Hemi tick repair modification
These are well made. What more can you say about a washer? I used these for replacing the exhaust manifold bolts on a 2014 Hemi 5.7l. I reduced the torque from the recommended setting and used these to help keep everything tight.
