Batman: The Definitive History of the Dark Knight in Comics, Film, and Beyond Updated Edition is a great book on the history of The Dark Knight in comic books , tv shows , movies , videogames , media , radio etc. It even covers the other characters as well like the Bat Family too but it's main focus is on Batman. It is a massive hardcover book but well worth the price and it's a great addition to anyone's Bat collection. I give and 5 out of 5 Batarangs !!!

This is a big beautiful book with so much amazing content. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't see it as worthy enough to package it into a box with proper shipping materials. It was placed into a loose box where the book was able to slide around and the corners of the book were damaged. If I buy a brand new product, especially one as expensive as this, I would at least expect some care to be involved...

Fantastic book. Beautiful graphics and illustrations. This book has it all . Price was to good to pass up. Smooth transaction and speedy shipping. I would definitely use this seller again. Great for any comic book or Dark Knight fan.

Very enjoyable account of all treatments of the Bob Kane/Bill Finger character in all media in all eras, richly illustrated.

Insight Editions did an excellent job in creating this book about the complete history of Batman in comics, film, TV, video games, etc. The written history is very detailed and gives you a lot of context about all the different storylines in the order that they happened throughout Batman's comics history.The pull outs are really neat & even the paper that is used for the pages is very high quality and glossy.An absolute must buy if you're any kind of a Batman fan!It's already one of the best & one of my favorite books that I own!

This is a great encyclopedia on Batman. I was impressed with the quality of the paper (very thick and sturdy, which makes the book heavy as it's a large volume) as well as the content of the writing. The illustrations and imagery are well done and very artfully laid out. You can tell someone put this together with a lot of TLC. My favorite parts are the tip-ins of extra content. Papers fold out in accordion style to show you character sketches from the films or comics. The first issue where Batman appears is included as a tip in as well so you get to relive the feeling of reading the first comic of this superhero. There's even a map of Gotham and a Batman mask that can be detached and played with. Overall, I'm very impressed with this book, which for the price, I'm glad it was worth it. I am also very happy with the added content, especially from The Batman, bringing it up-to-date. It's an entertaining read and has tons of visual eye candy to please any Batman fan. A must have for Batman collectors.

The size of this book is impressive. You could knock someone out with it. It's 2" thick. It's full of information, pictures, and all kind of inserted goodies; and is a great resource on all things Batman. However, it seems to be more geared to a younger reader, which, for the money, I wasn't expecting. If you're a Batman fan, it's probably essential as a symbolic representation of your loyalty to the Dark Knight. Though I'm a bit disappointed, I'm still glad I bought it.

This book is incredible. Not only are the text and photos/illustrations fantastic, but it's packed with reproductions of comic books, blue prints, scripts, etc. What a gem! A must for ant Batman fan boy or girl!!
