Liberty Hardware 129847 18-Inch Coat and Hat Rail/Rack with 4 Heavy Duty Hooks, White and White

We bought this to go in our bathroom to replace a metal rail/rack that had rusted. We needed something to hold towels near the shower, and we wanted something with at least four hooks (as we have four people in our family). Our bathroom has no exhaust/ventilation fan to help with moisture, and despite using a dehumidifier, our walls still get so wet that we can't seem to keep the paint from peeling and are constantly battling mildew, so any item we install in the bathroom has to be something that is less likely to rust, warp, or mildew. We've had this rack for over a month now, and so far so good. It's nothing fancy, but it looks sleek and unobtrusive (and a nice white accent on a pale lavender wall). We like that each separate hook actually has two hooks, so it can hold two towels or other items and still be kept separate by household member if you wanted. The hooks are coated and aren't showing any sign of rust, and the white paint/coating is still a nice bright white. We did, however, go out and buy separate coated screws to use to install the rack, as the screws that came with it were not coated, and we were concerned they would rust over time. (As the rack is labeled a coat and hat rack, we didn't consider the non-coated screws a mark against it, as it's not labeled for bathroom use; it's just something to keep in mind if you're going to use it in a high-moisture area.) It does seem sturdy enough to hold heavier items, like coats, although we haven't tried anything much heavier than towels. If you intend to use it with heavy items, I would suggest using wall anchors for your screws.

I really like the rack. It is well-made, and the powder coat finish is nice.Ours smelled to high heaven when we got it, but the smell has dissipated.I do wish I had seen that they had the five-hook version also available - I should have lookeda little farther! I would have purchased that instead of the 4-hook, but this will do the job.It's only task is to hold our storm safety helmets in case of emergencies.Easy to open, easy to put up (although according to my husband, the mollies were muchshorter than they should be to be truly useful).

Great product that can hold weight. The only recommendations I would make is to not use their anchors or their screws. Get longer screws since the screws they provided did not attach all the way to the wall. It kept spinning because it wasnt long enough. It was loose and caused the hooks to be wobbly and loose. I used longer screws with a different anchor to secure the hooks much better and it worked fine. It was sturdy. Great quality though.

Although I read the description wrong and was hoping I would receive 18 Irish figurines in Victorian-era garb to hold my coats, mostly because of how much I love Darby O'Gil and the Little People, this turned out to be real nice.Pros:- Easy to install--probably even easier than six-foot-tall porcelein figurines would have been- The white color feels as fresh as the dew on a cluain in spring- It's a great length for a small space. I imagine a few leprechaun homes might sport one of these.Cons:- Not as much fun to talk to as humanlike statues- The installation hardware could be better. Less pot of gold, more pot of plastic gold-toned coins.

The hanger was exactly what I wanted to hang all of my coats on. It was easy to install and it is very sturdy and well-made.

I ordered 4, one was damaged, however these are very solid strong hook racks.

This is the second time I’ve purchased this 4-hook hanging rack. I wanted another one for my master bath and it’s identical to the first one I purchased. This is a beautiful white hanging rack. Took my husband maybe 5 minutes to install. Comes with mounting screws.
