Performs as expected to score glass rod and tube. Users should be sure to lubricate the cutting wheel’s shaft and path, as you would with any glass cutter. The product arrived in perfect condition in a small plastic envelope, inside a cardboard box, inside a larger corrugated shipping carton.

Got these to cut sight glass tubing and they do work as long as you don’t cut close to the ends. This is handy because its size fits in your toolbox/bag easy and use is simple. If you’re just trimming the end of the tube (within 3/4”) I had no luck with it breaking cleanly on the score.

I was expecting these things to be rubbish, was pleasantly surprised. They score thick wall tubing and do it pretty well. They tend to want to move from side to side which can cause some uneven scores, but for the price, these are alright, just keep a good grip on them while rotating the tube.

It works but is there another better than this?

Got this for cutting boiler sight glass tubes. I had one chance on a few cuts, and this got the job so we passed inspection, thanks!

Do not be intimated by cutting glass tube. Tool works perfectly first time I bought extra glass just in case but did not need it.

It works fine. A little odd to get it to stay on a certain point, but with a little practice it works great.

Efficace pour les petits tuyaux, en bas d'un pouce de circonférence. De la pratique est nécessaire pour bien maitriser la gestion de la pression sur le mécanisme. La plupart du temps, tu tuyau se sépare sous la pression de la lame une fois qu'elle a fait le tour du tuyau, il faut donc bien gérer la pression pour ne pas avoir de coupe erratique. Mais c'est plus rapide que d'avoir à sortir la scie à l'eau.
