* Update!
Updated review! They sent me a new kit and all the bottles were perfect. There is a learning curve ( watch a video ) but it’s pretty forgiving too. I have watched my friend do my nails a couple times, so I had a clue, but it’s not that difficult to do on your own. And if it’s a little lumpy you can buff it down and put a little top coat on. My nails look pretty good for my first try on my own! And if it gets all over the sides of your fingers, as mine did while using my non- dominant hand, it easily comes if with some buffing:) . —-Okay I didn’t know I couldn’t return. I guess that’s my bad, but who would have thought it would all be old and sticky! My friend has the same kit and it’s great. All of the bottles I got are thick and glue like. I put on two nails because I was experimenting and thankfully I did. I thought maybe it was just the base coat and it was supposed to be that glue like? So I kept trying but then I opened the top coat and it is just as thick and sticky and it is still sticky on my nails a half hour later. Now I’m stuck with all this bad product and I have to figure out how to get it off. Bleh. My friend got hers at a Ulta. If you can go the actual store I would do that.

Works well but requires careful application
I have thin, cracking nails, and I chip regular nail polish in five minutes. I've been used gel polish, but I came across dip powders and decided to give them a try. The powder stays on well - even when I put it on incorrectly, it lasted over a week, and I'm hopeful to get at least 2-3 weeks out of my current application. The powder creates an acrylic, so it creates a very strong layer - great if you have flimsy nails like mine. The color in this package is a classic, bright red.You have to be careful about application, though - I recommend googling something like "tips for using dip powder" and following them to a T. Make sure you prep your nails carefully and buff them first (the instructions just say clean, but I think buffing really helps keep the powder on). Use very thin layers of base coat and make sure it doesn't touch your nail bed/skin - it's not dangerous, but it will cause the powder to lift off your nail soon. If you put on too many layers, your nails will feel weird, like wearing fake nails. I recommend doing one layer only for two thirds of each nail, then another layer that covers your entire nail (google tips and tricks - that's how I learned this technique).Another issue is that the brushes will clump up and the bottle will seal shut - that's because the chemical reactions basically create super glue. The kit comes with a brush cleaner that removes the gunk easily, and running hot water over the bottle will make it open.

I like it! Dip newbie and I’ll stick with it.
I’ve always wanted nicely manicured nails but never found a product that works well for me. I’ve tried different polishes but either they take too long to dry or it scrapes off on my work like crayon as I work with my hands and papers a lot. I’ve tried gel but I’m really not good at it at all. I decided to try this dip kit and I’m very happy with it. It will take a couple applications to really get it down but I followed the instructions and I was very happy with how simple it was and there’s no major dry time. I do think I need a dusting brush to get more of the excess powder off as the manicure is a little thick. It would be nice if one came with the kit. I ordered one so I’ll be ready with it for the next application. I love that it doesn’t come off on my work like little crayons on my finger tips. It’s only been 2 days so I can’t say anything about how long it lasts or the ease of removal. But so far I’m really liking it and look forward to many beautiful manicures.

Loved it but base coat cap got glued shut and dried out after 3 uses.
I loved the way my nails looked and would like to use this product again, but ordering a new bottle of the base is costly and the one that came with the kit was impossible to open after three uses. I read that the base lid could get glued shut so I was careful to wipe the bottle before I replaced the top, but it still got glued shut. Finally I used a hair dryer and soaked it in acetone and was able to get it off with pliers. I immediately discovered that the contents were solid. The manicure lasted about a week each time I was able to use it. I watched several videos and read "helpful tips" online before trying this and was super careful to avoid the "cap getting glued shut" problem. I like gel better, but the light started burning my fingers so I thought this was a better alternative. I really wanted it to work.

Caution: Dip Color May Vary
I looked a lot of products and this one had good reviews and seemed like it was a good cost. I'll update my review after I use the product (I just got it), but I was pretty disappointed. My starter kit came with a BRIGHT red dip powder. I'd bought this set because the box showed a light pink color (what I was looking for) and the review that consistently shows at the top for me of this product describes the kit as having a light pink color. After I got my set, I came back online and some reviews do show and mention the red and have that pictured while others have images of the light pink color. From what I see I'm not sure how to tell which color you're going to receive so its a caution for everyone. I'm now buying a light pink powder separately making this set not nearly as good a deal as I had expected.

Worked great the first time.
I have had my nails done at a salon using this dip process for a very long time and I always loved the look and how long it lasted. Then covid-19 happened and I was unable to go to the salon. My nails were in need of nail polish and manicures so I had to find another way to make them look decent. I decided to try the dip nail product since that was what I had done at the salons. I have watched how they did my nails and decided to give it a try. I was so pleased with this product and the results. I have no reason to return to the salons and pay huge amounts for the same results. I'm sold on this product and will continue to order it!

Does the job but messy
Excellent, very happy with this. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The tubs could do with being slightly deeper, as you can easily lose powder over the top when dipping.Also my brushes have become stuck fast in the bottle after using only once, I have had to use my teeth to open the bottles. And the bottle top has come away from the brush inside, so it ends up being a sticky mess on the fingers when using the brushs.

Nul
Nul .
