This was purchased for assisted living. Easy to maneuver alone in shower. Nice complete seat for shower.

The chair is so well built that it makes rolling the position into shower very easy. The wheels are especially heavy duty, compared to some of the cheaper brands.

The metal on the wheel of this chair bent after only 3 months rendering it unusable and dangerous.

Would have worked better for someone below 200 pds. Otherwise great chair for multifuction: showering, toileting, transporting.

Mom has rejected this chair once... I'll try again today. She's 91 and very determined. The seat is a soft cushion covered in vinyl; in the photos it appeared to be hard plastic. The biggest objection appears to be that the seat is uncomfortable for her. The seat is actually U shaped and the opening near the front is too wide and the vinyl sticks to her legs. Also, the bucket does not stay firmly in place. My bad on this one - I should have paid more attention to the seat before putting this together.
