1PC Back Spacer Signet Ring For Spyderco Endura 4 Knives US NEW

First, I bought this because Wiseman was out of stock and no notice on when they might be available.So, installation was a little tricky on my Matriarch 2. One of the holes in the ring part was too tight to get one of the threaded stud/spacer through. I had to ream it out slightly.The slot for the spring was also a little tight.I do have a Wiseman on a different knife. It is a lot thinner and has a larger diameter ring.Other than that, this ring seems to be fine.

Fits perfectly, is very lightweight, and balances out the blade very well. The gap on the back that holds the tensioner was too loose to actually hold the leaf spring in, this was easily fixed with a couple gentle taps with a hammer to close the gap a little. The only other downside to this is that is was actually fairly difficult to install, the blade has to be open for you to install it. Highly recommend wrapping the blade with something as you will have to use a lot of force to overcome the leaf spring during installation.Now that it’s all installed though, it’s absolutely perfect. Fits the hand very well and makes the Emerson feature on the endura that much better.

It’s a simple piece of aluminum. It fits and functions. It’s much thicker and has a smaller hole than the Wisemen rings for the same knife. Those are twenty bucks more than these but they do feel much better. I greatly prefer the Wisemen rings but this one will work just fine for my work knife.

love having my endura with the ring. Olny complaint is the metal is a bit soft and will pick up nicks and dings pretty quick if its your work knife. that said i think the wear and tear looks good. so pick it up if you want a long knife with a karambit ring. Its pretty cool.

The inner diameter of the hole appears to be smaller than the one it is a clone of. I got this for an endura 4 with wave opener and ended up taking it off because it just made the knife uncomfortable and slower to draw while also having the added risk of something scraping against the ring and pulling the knife out of my pocket. Maybe it would work out if you had a karambit style blade and small fingers.

Fit is excellent. It conforms perfectly to the original lines of the knife. The finish is anodized and eventually wears through to bare aluminum. Strictly aesthetic and no effect on function, not an issue for me. The ring is big and allows the knife to be drawn from the front pocket (clipped) even with a gloved hand. With minimal practice, you can draw and open the knife in one fell swoop with a flick of the wrist. Essential for any good work knife. Good stuff here and want one for my other Spyderco.
