Was tired of buying over prices scoopers that seem to break over time. Looked for something simple in terms of the action and ability to scoop. Not overly sturdy but for the price seems to be holding up just fine. Would recommend for those that have kids and feel the need for a shake every night. LOL

Lasted a year. Kids eat a lot of ice cream so it had a lot of use. It is cheaply made and the head, like others have reported, simply fell off due to the cheap weld and cheap material. Some small stainless steel screws may be able to fix this. I have only ever hand washed it so no rust problems. Also like others have said it is hollow so its hard to clean the inside when the kids just dump it in the sink and I find it later. I had no problem scooping ice cream. Because it's cheap, worked, and doesn't blister leaving who knows what in my kids ice cream, and for 10.00 I am buying again. I've spent 10 bucks on a lot worse things.**UPDATE**Lasted a year and I rated product a 3 as the head fell off. It's still a great product, just may have some minor flaws that need addressed such as the spot welds. Maybe switch connection to stainless steel screws. I like it so much I did buy another because well I have spent 10.00 on a lot worse things. Customer service kicked in and refunded the purchase cost. Excellent service and stand by their business! So it's as if I never bought the replacement. Product still needs work but I truly appreciate the great customer service!

Most options don't do well with super frozen ice cream. However, this scooper had zero issues. My kids can use it without any trouble and that is always a plus. The lever to release the product is sturdy and works as it should, but the way it is designed it won't break through multiple uses. I am extremely happy I chose this type.

Love the design of the scooper. It’s easy to use and gives you the perfect size scoop of ice cream. However, the quality isn’t great. The release button broke after less than 10 uses

This ice cream scooper is fantastic! I ended up buying 2 more after I received the original order.It makes the perfect sized ice cream balls and the little "flipper" pushes out the ice cream without having to use your fingers. :-) Highly recommend this product!

I bought this ice cream scoop because I'm getting so tired of using regular spoons. The scooper seems very strong and durable and it's very easy to use. The best thing I like about it is the little trigger release. It does a great job of dropping off the ice cream.
