Better than I expected
I have plenty of channel lock style pliers and don’t really use them much. I bought these because the Knipex brand continues to exceed my expectations and these did as well. Much better grip than I expected and very easy to adjust with one hand to just the right size. I use them much more than I expected and like them as much if not more than the pliar wrench because I can get them adjusted to the right position faster.

The Rolls Royce of Pliers
Built like a battleship, narrow enough for tight places and very, very adjustable. What’s not to like? I looked at Klein and Channellock with similar mechanisms but they , even though a few bucks cheaper, are about double the thickness at the business end, so less versatile. I have never heard anyone say anything negative about these pliers.

Knipex make the best pliers and these cobra water pump pliers are super versatile
I got these to have a second pair of the same model.I already had one pair that was often in my "to go" tool box in the truck and they get used so much I bought another pair to leave in the toolbox at home.Every body should have a pair of these somewhere to hand, they are great.

I was wondering what all of the fuss was about with these pliers. I understood the fuss the first time that I actually used them... wow! High quality, tight grip, and comfortable handles!

Channel locks that don’t slip
Hands down the best pump pliers I’ve ever used. They bite onto everything and will scratch up the surface of whatever it is you’re grabbing but these things will never slip off!

knipex channies are the best, i bought these "quickset" ones just cause they were cheaper than the og and i have no complaints however they dont function any different from the og knipex cobras, the "quickset" function to me seems like bs, they work no different from the og cobras which idm personally but if you specifically want that "quick adjustment" then these might not be for you

Great tool for plumbing work
Locking mechanism works very well but takes a bit longer and is not particularly friendly for one-handed use, but once it's set to the right size, it grips nuts quite well due to the shape. The teeth give excellent grip but should not be used for finish work because they leave marks, as expected.
