Haoge LH-X54W Square Metal Lens Hood with 49mm Adapter Ring for Fujifilm Fuji X100V Camera Silver

Good. Perfect fit for my Fujifilm x100vi camera. I was able to use this with my existing lens cap so that's a plus. Looks good. The colour goes well with the camera body. I was also able to attach additional filters with this lens hood.

I recently purchased the Haoge LH-X5W Square lens hood for my Fujifilm X100F camera, and I must say that I am very pleased with it. The Haoge Square lens hood is made of high-quality aluminum alloy material, and the finish matches the X100F camera quite well. One minor issue I found is that the lens hood cannot be tightened all the way onto the camera's lens as it wouldn't sit straight. However, even when not tightened all the way, the lens hood is still fairly snug and stays in place. This does not affect the overall functionality of the hood and is a small inconvenience. I highly recommend purchasing the Haoge Cap-X54W along with the lens hood, as the original Fujifilm X100F cap will not fit on the lens hood. The Haoge Cap-X54W fits perfectly on the hood and keeps the lens protected from dust and scratches. Overall, I would highly recommend the Haoge LH-X5W Square lens hood and the Haoge Cap-X54W for Fujifilm X100F owners. They are both well-made, easy to use, and enhance the functionality and protection of the camera's lens.

Love it! Makes my X100VI look more retro and “Leica-like”. The silver finish is, I would say, maybe 90% similar to the camera silver. The build quality feels nice, doesn’t feel cheap at all. The crisscross section of the adapter is smoother compared to the focus ring so it’s easy to distinguish between the 2. Now, for the most common complaint about the hood, I managed to get it as tight as possible without over tightening it while also maintaining the straightness of the hood. The red rubber o-ring helps in maintaining that hold on the hood really well. Although, the original Fuji lens cap fits, it’s a little weird when it comes to evening out the lens cap on the hood. Overall, I would say 9.5/10!

I was a little hesitant to order this lens hood based on all the reviews saying that it was misaligned and very difficult to put on, but it truly could not have been easier and took all of a few seconds. Even before writing this review, I unscrewed it and put back on my X100V to make sure it aligns exactly as it should, and it does. It’s easy to put on and take off, which I have to do often when I change out lens filters. I saw some reviews saying they had to tighten it to the point where they thought something might break; I didn’t find that to be the case at all, although yes, you do have to tighten it—but not excessively. The original lens cap for my X100V also fits perfectly on top of it. This lens hood is perfect. It’s a little pricey, but it’s beautiful, and it’s the lens hood Fuji should’ve made and included with the camera. If you’re worried, don’t be; just watch the video on the Amazon product page for this lens hood, and do exactly what the person does when putting the hood on the camera, aligning it they way they do. Worked for me.

I had the squarehood mkII for my X100f; but was never happy with their chunky solution for a filter. I carry my F with me everywhere, so a UV filter and hood are my armour... This fits PERECTLY, only a little bit longer than the squarehood (without their filter ring/adapter which added way too many mm for me). Filter is inside the hood; no focus interference issues; perfect colour match. I really couldn't be happier - which should be no surprise, as I had the Haoge LH-X49W and loved it before the squarehood lured me away with the retro look... Only drawback: FujiX100F and earlier lens caps DON'T fit; apparently the X100V cap is a little bigger... no big dea;, with a hood and filter I don't need a cap. Love this.
