You know, with these products from obscure Chinese companies, you can get that uneasy feeling placing an order sometimes. But this one's a real winner. Super easy to set up - it's plug 'n play, and the quality 3M brand stickies that come with it are great for placement. They stay stuck in place yet are removable if desired. The speed shown adjusts in nearly real-time to your changes in speed. It has a nice "offset" feature so if it consistently shows a speed a certain (small) number of units (e.g., MPH, km/H) higher or lower than your true speed, you can tell it to show a number a certain number of MPH or km/H less or more than it calculates. However, the speed it shows matches my car's speed. The instruction manual wasn't clearly written, as is the case with many of these products from obscure Chinese companies, but that was okay because it was so easy to set up and use. The display is perfectly bright in both day and night. And you don't need to adhere any reflective material your windshield - I love the way the display works. My wife and I are so happy with this that we ordered another one. Fantastic job, VJOYCAR!

Works well for the price, but I have two complaints. There is to 12 hour format for time so you are forced to use 24 hour, and there is a slight inaccuracy with the speed. It is either 1-2 mph off at high or low speeds depending on how you calibrate it.

This was bought for my husband's '97 S10 since the built-in speedometer doesn't work. It takes a second to register once plugged up, but it doesn't take but a few seconds to catch up! It is bright at night so be warned, I'd suggest setting the brightness a little lower than it starts out on, and be warned of the light on the plugin, it is very bright!

this is a good product. It is bright, easy to use and fun to have.However, if I have a chance to buy again, I might choose a OBD2 instead of GPS only HUD.Whenever I am in tunnel, parking garage or someplace blocked by high rises ( Los Angeles downtown), the signals from GPS is gone. So the speedometer become useless.if you prefer to see data all the time, OBD2 is better than a GPS product.But this item is still with a reasonable price, cheap, easy to use and fun to have.

The Vjoycar R1 is compact, accurate and easy to use. It acquires GPS satellites even in the garage where I have had problems with other devices. Acquisition time was about 45 seconds on first (cold) start and about 30 when run within an hour. The automatic light level adjustment works great with great visibility from dark to bright sunlight. The elapsed driving time is a great feature on long trips. The inclusion of a non marring trim pry tool is a big plus! The only negative is that the elevation is only displayed in Meters.
