Energetic Anatomy: An Illustrated Guide to Understanding and Using the Human Energy System Paperback – April 1, 2011

I enjoyed reading this book. There were some interesting suggestions, observations, and tips in regards to the human energy system. I also liked his detailed descriptions about cords and cones.Mark's description about the directions of the spirals are good, too, but be aware that they conflict with other teachers in regards to whether a chakra spins clockwise or counterclockwise. You will have to decide for yourself which spin direction is correct for you. I haven't determined that for myself, yet.There is one thing that should be looked at more closely, though. It's my understanding that the crown chakra, or GV20 (in acupuncture terms), is not at the top of the head, as Mark illustrates in his book. The chakra connected to the pineal gland is actually closer to the back of the crown/head and runs on a slight angle. It's my understanding that the chakra that connects to GV20 is connected to the hypothalamus gland and is in line with the Taiji Pole. I'm not saying he is wrong, but I'm also not saying he is right, either. I can only mention this based on my own energy experiences. I've also seen a photo where the pituitary gland runs backwards on an angle to the spot I mentioned. I don't know which is completely correct, yet. I'm still working on it.The only thing I didn't care for was Mark's negative description about a man that he didn't like from his past. I didn't think that belonged in this type of instructional book. It showed that Mark is still harboring negative emotions and needs some healing with this issue. I do wish him the best with love and forgiveness towards this person.Another interesting piece of the puzzle is Mark's energetic encounter with the eagle. This could have many meanings. If it is what I think it is, the eagle is a representation from the tarot and has to do with changing sexual energies and activities to a spiritual nature and not just for physical pleasure and making babies.This book is another piece in the puzzle for learning about the energy system of the body. I recommend this book for those on the path towards truth.

This book is great. The writer writes in an easy to read manner. The diagrams are very helpful to visualize. There are many exercises to train in being able to see energy. It is worth reading. I'm enjoying it!!

Where is this guy and why isn't he teaching seminars? This is truly an incredible book. I have been reading books on energy medicine for over 20 years now and as a bodyworker who relies on energy healing I was so impressed with the content of this book. This guy is the real deal. He has a gift that he passes on to each of us. Not only does he discuss how human energy works in the body, but he actually gives the reader exercises and "how to" information so they can start using this practical wisdom. Most books only discuss how the energy flows and give whacky, new age-y exercises to follow, without giving any real practical "how to" advice. Not this book. There are lots of pertinent exercises to build the ability to sense energy. After putting his theories into practice, I noticed a marked increase in my ability to feel and see energy. I have searched for other works by this author to no avail. I hope he comes back out of obscurity and writes more, or teaches his profound wisdom in seminar settings. Thank you Mark. I loved it!!

After all these years, Carlos Castaneda's description of the human energy system is vindicated. It rang true with me then, and it has now been scientifically and experientially explained. This author not only practices what he's teaching, but he can bring it down to a layman's level of practical visualization and application. Each exercise is safe, simple, easily understood and workable. It does not mean that the results are necessarily easily or quickly obtained, but the means to reach the goal of self healing and shared healing are there. If practiced, his book has the potential to substantially enhance your energy, healing and ability to exchange, recharge and dispense human energy selectively and consciously. A good read for all things visual and practical concerning human energy.

I loved this book! Mark Rich was born clairvoyant and can actually see the energy systems he describes. Seemingly very down to earth, however, he has had practice in mastery of the body as a martial artist and Licensed Massage Therapist. There are profuse illustrations of what he can see and this corraborates with acupunture meridians and the shamanaic knowledge described by Carlos Casteneda. There many insights and exercises which can be used to give a person more energy and clear blockages. To me, it is the most precise understanding of how to work with what may be the soul or unconscious I have found to date. I am hoping that schools of nursing and medicine will use this book as a practical text, as I believe it is so valuable.

While not fully relevant to the energy work materials I'm researching, the book offers thought provoking diagrams and insights I will ponder more.

I love this book. Not only is it filled with thoughtful insights from the author's direct personal experience with the human energy system, it also presents the energetic structures in a clear way using plain English instead of Sanskrit, technical jargon, or complicated academic explanations. I was surprised to learn about some structures he's seen that I hadn't heard of before, and I've read a few books on the subject including those by Carolyn Myss. The book is filled with many practical exercises, too, and I intend to use it with a partner to explore those "seeing and feeling energy" exercises myself. If you're looking for a clear and well written book on energy systems, this is it.

The book was in good condition and it remains one of the best energy/aura books on the market. The seller had cardboard on either side to keep it in perfect shape throughout the shipping process, which I appreciated!
