a great fast laptop
The Asus Vivobook 15 X515EA is a fantastic laptop, plenty of memory, large SSD storage and a great screen and keyboard. However the thing that really blew my mind was how fast it is - press the power button, blink and the logon screen is there, similarly with loading website pages. Unlike manufacturers normal bundled software packages, the MyAsus one is actually quite good, clearly identifies such things as driver updates, has a good diagnostic suite and keeps you up to date on how the hardware is performing - even tells you how fast the fan is rotating! Upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 with no problem. Battery life doing website browsing and emails seems to be about 4 to 5 hrs from 100% until the point at which the power save kicks in, which for me is more than enough.

Extremely fast power up and down.Pin number login available (quicker and less boring than typing in password all the time)!Aesthetically pleasing, large keyboard letters and numbers.Recommended!

Arrived as promised on the day they said ,,, 1st bonusUnpacked powered up and a voice took me through the basic stuff to set up . so really not worth paying for expert set up IMOI like the anti glare screen ,,,,now Windows 11 ,,,,,to me not a problem similar to 10 for the things i want it forAn easy peasy worth the money laptop

I bought it for my wife to use, it is never plugged in on charge but keeps on working. Even with 15+ browser windows open and Office apps open as well it does not slow down.Very happy she is.

Nice compact size screen no very good compared to others no back lit key's but does the job nicely for the money

this is the third time I have been fooled by asus i hope now i have learned my mind
it can't be powered, obviously it doesn't start, on two other ASUS laptops I bought it gave up my video card or hard drive after a month. I will never buy ASUS again

Excellent laptop for money
Always had large Dell laptop but noticed a pattern at 5 years they slow down so much. This Asus is wow, so fast at start up. Handles multiple open tabs in Edge. Windows 11 runs very well. Quick set up to mirror smart TV and helpful having What's App on laptop for Zoom and MS Teams. Spec states back-light keyboard but there is not. It is full size QWERTY keyboard but not the number pad, it is smaller and keys for +,- etc are in different positions. Battery is OK, not the best and noticeable drain connected wireless to smart TV otherwise in normal use, browsing or email or word good battery life. Recommended, I'm very happy.
