I read well but my comprehension skills I have always felt like I was struggling. This Bible is for children (either 6-10 or 8-12 yrs in age) but it’s also good for any ages, children and/or adults. This would make a lovely gift for anyone, too. The price is perfect and the shipping was fast too. It’s also good for all reading levels. Review: Perfect Baptism Gift – Simple, Meaningful, and Timeless - I gave the ESV Holy Bible for Kids, Economy edition as a baptism gift, and it was absolutely perfect for the occasion. While it’s a more affordable version, it doesn’t feel “cheap” at all—just simple, clean, and focused on what matters most: God's Word. The text is clear and readable, and the ESV translation is a solid choice for growing readers who will eventually move from being read to, to reading on their own. It’s lightweight, making it easy for little hands to carry to church or Sunday school. So good! Not just for kids. Great bible for adults as well. Great choice for a bible!! Just a few illustrations to bring it to life. Nothing else juvenile about this bible. Definitely not a baby bible.

Not for a young child
It’s simple and easier to read compared to other bibles but it’s not exactly for a small child. It’s more for a teen (not for one who struggles to read). It’s great for an adult starting to read the Bible for the first time. Looks exactly as the pictures displayed.

Paperback isn't holding up after a few months of daily use, but the children love the illustrations and one of them refuses to let it Bible out of his sight.
