My husband and I have become Honey snobs. It started when my daughter worked for a honey company. Until that time, all honey was honey. It didn't taste different to us, so we were good with any brand. The honey that her company made was excellent honey. They also sold some cheaper labels and you could tell that the honey was not the same. They would import the honey from South America and blend with other honeys to make that label. You could tell the difference. So when we were in Hawaii, we went into a shop that sold this Big Island Bees Macadamia Nut honey. They were allowing for us to taste the different honeys. When we tasted this one, it was truly the best honey that we have ever had surpassing the honey from my daughter's company. Problem is, it comes for Hawaii. So after we finished with the first jar, we decided to get more and lo and behold, it was being sold by AMAZON. We were in luck. We also have bought it to give as a gift. It is really good honey. Expensive, but delicious, worth every penny!

Macadamia honey is hard to find lately. It could be considered very expensive but it does have to come from Hawaii and I think the flavor is worth it. The last two jars I just received were very poorly packaged and were rolling around in the box. One was leaking even though I am not sure why. Even the outside of the box was sticky. I washed the jars and poured the leaky jar into another container and saved most of it. The honey is good but the packaging could be a whole lot better.

I get honey from all over. Not only great honey, the people at Big Island Bees are great to buy from. Excellent, friendly service.

It was a nice honey. Nice flavor in assam tea. But not at 19.99 price mark. Lehua blossom is the really exotic honey from Big Island Bees, well worth the price. But I’m okay with19.99 for this jar of macadamia given the wildfire destruction there. Will be getting more Lehua, price is up by about $30 from last time but if it helps…

In a word "divine." I've tasted many honeys over the years and I am a bit honey aficionado. This particular honey is absolutely delish! It has a very unique taste. The color is like spun gold. It taste delicious on toast, and coffee and tea or just out of the jar with a spoon. I would highly recommend this product.

After hear about this from a friend I had to try it. I was hesitant at first because it’s quite expensive honey, but I though I would treat myself. I’m so glad I did. This is the best honey I have ever tasted! It has a unique nutty flavor that is completely different from the honey we get in Texas. I will definitely be buying more.
