Quality - works well 1 month later - UPDATED 18 MONTHS LATER
UPDATE: I haven't used it in almost 6 months, and when I tried using it today it wouldn't turn on. I used this pretty heavily for the first 12 months with no issues, but today when I needed to use it, no luck. Given the price tag of this and coming from a solid brand like OSSUR, I was hoping it was under some sort of warranty. No luck. They only warranty for 6 months.Overall - it was a helpful machine, but I won't be buying it again, just for the fact that it broke less than 2 years after owning it, and that's with really only 1 year of semi-regular use. Pretty lame. IMO.I’ve used the game ready ready ice machine before that is far more superior. But also comes with a huge price tag.Given the price tag of this it’s an excellent machine. I got a major knee surgery Jan 30th and I’ve used this machine since then. It’s been excellent to this point.Pros:-the tubing feels really nice and hasn’t torn or fall apart like some reviews have said.-The machine has a few settings to control how much water pumps through it.-It’s relatively small so it can fit under a table when not using.-It keeps water cold for quite a while (depending on how much you use it).-The universal icing pad I bought with it works really well on my knee.Cons:-if you have a knee surgery and can’t walk, you’ll have to get someone to refill the water for you (I would assume every machine is this way)-the lid is kind of annoying to get open. It’s on REALLY tight and it doesn’t have an easy open tab or lip or something.Overall I’ve been happy with it and it’s improved my icing from the gel packs I’ve used in the past. I would definitely recommend this.PRO TIP: if you use 12 oz water bottles and freeze them, you can fit 4 in the machine and it’s a lot easier and less messy than putting in loose ice every time.

Pain management game changer
This thing works awesome! I've used a different one before and opted to buy this one to use for this (and future) surgery recoveries- glad I did. Here's the scoop.* Nice clean look- looks like a mini cooler and insulated too which helps with ice longevity.* Long water leads and a long AC cord- helps a ton with placement and outlet reach.* Quiet motor- and adjustable. Barely noticeable at night when it's quiet in the house- a little whisper but I've got clocks that make more noise. Adjustable circulation speed is awesome and allows for more control on how "cold" you want it.Now here are my upgrade suggestions to the manufacturer- remember me with the royalties.* Throw in some simple rubber caps for both the unit lead connectors and put them with each pad- keeps the connectors clean and protected when not in use, and catches any drips out of the pad when disconnected.*Nylon storage bag with molded bottom and pocket(s) for hose leads, pads...*Love the adjustable speed and switch; maybe a push button on/off instead- that way you can keep the setting and just shut the unit off.*Add bluetooth and develop and app. That would take this to the next level to be able to control and schedule the unit for long sessions and night time. No reason to not use this at night especially if you could control the cycle of time, duration, and shut off.*Think about a unit that maybe heats/cools the water and can be used for warm or cold therapy through the pads. Be a bit more complicated but could have use for PT maybe.Anyway- this item won't disappoint. If you want a permanent solution to icing injuries or sore joints/muscles this is a great choice- super happy with it.

AVOID - less expensive options and warranty too short
Bought 10/14, writing as of 10/26. Using for 2 weeks.Using it for a full knee replacement. You need constant ice for first few weeks and that’s a challenge. Your options are: 1: this machine; 2. Ice bags of real ice; 3. Re-usable ice packs.I am using all three options. Ice bags leak, stay filled 20-30 mins and can be heavy. Reusable ice wraps stay cold 20 mins and can be heavy. This machine is the best option of the three by far. It doesn’t feel heavy against your knee and it stays cold for hours. I’ve left it filled at 10pm, went to sleep and woke up at 7am and used it without refilling it.The motor is inaudible. It’s easy to use. And has really been a life saver. My only request for the manufacturer is to consider a little better insulation within the container. Go examine Yeti coolers or something but if they improve that, the thing is perfect, granted that is lasts longer than 3 months.Updated 3/30: purchased on 10/20, and i discovered the pads started to leak and I thought this was within the 6 month warranty window. But pads are covered for only 1 months. For a $200 machine with only a 6 month warranty, I would not buy again. AVOID and pursue less expensive options that last longer

Works simply, efficiently for my knee surgery, but the felt cover for the Velcro pad is pulling off.
Very simple and efficient way to get 20+ minutes of cold therapy often, and quickly. Use and re-use of small plastic water bottles pre frozen and refrozen with about 2 to 3” of water in the Ossur tank is better than using cubes. The universal pad is large, adjustable and has two Velcro straps to hold in place. The pad has a cover on one side which the Velcro attaches to very well. The cover on my pad is coming off however after five weeks of use. I have to contact the company to see if they will replace this pad.

Very effective, and indispensable, following any major orthopedic repair.
Excellent product, thus so far, in terms of its reliability. Only had it for 5 weeks, since my rotator cuff repair. (My medical insurance didn’t cove it) was initially disgruntled about being sent a knee ice pad, instead of s shoulder one, but deduced ro made due because I no longer wanting to deal with the ice packs, while addressing this issue with the seller…I had long Velcro bands form previous braces and such. Anyways, the hole in the knee ice pad comes in quite handy, as a thumb “guide” to slide the ice pack over my shoulder, being my operated shoulder is in a bulky shoulder immobilizer.Get nice, and cold… end up icing other body parts, after my 20 min are up with my shoulder. Found our that using my adjustable 10 lb ankle weight was considerably more effective in rendering better pad to skin contact.Unit is super quiet, has a low hum. Best to use in a cool room, to keep ice from melting too quickly. Found out there if I used it in the garage where my office is, the ice rapidly melted.Being there I’m a retired competitive weightlifter of 30 years, and a physical therapist for over 25 years. I highly recommend this product for it’s user friendly size, ease of use, and it’s effectiveness.Hopefully, this company has good customer service, should anything go awry.
