I used this pen to darken the engraving on some stainless steel medic-alert bracelets. It works really well and I'm happy with the product. But I learned a few things. Clean the metal thoroughly with alcohol before starting, especially if you've already worn or used the item. Let the alcohol dry completely. Paint over the engraving generously and set a timer ! Wipe the excess off using semi-absorbent stiff paper, such as printer paper. Don't wipe with a kleenex or cotton, you'll take up most of the paint. There's no law against doing a second coat. The package directions don't get in to the details, but learning by doing is good. I'm considering a coat of clear nail polish over the engraving, because medic-alert bracelets get a lot of wear. I'll update this, if the nail polish idea is any good.

As stated, it works as expected.

Pen works well for metal stamping letters to color in font works very well darkens stamping negative space.

It took me a minute to figure out how to get the paint to the tip. It also has extra tip per pen. Very nice and very clean looking. I will buy again when I need to.

Loved how easy the pen went on my rings.. only one thing I didn't know after awhile the black washed off.. I had to reply..

I have worn the same hand made necklace since my daughter completed her radiation therapy. After 9 years, no one could read the engraving and I thought I had tried everything to fix it. This pen worked wonders and coloring the engraved words and has held up since applied (about 2 weeks) where others lasted a day or two at best.

I only used it once on something for myself. But I will keep u posted

De marker geeft genoeg inkt, na 3 of 10 minuten drogen . Veeg ik helaas alles weer weg. Meerdere malen geprobeerd.. De inkt blijft niet zitten zoals beschreven.
