Excellent at ameliorating scars.

The best silicone scar product on the market. Have tried about five other silicone scar products in gel form and also the scar sheets. The scar sheet made a scar worse during sleep as I guess the skin was pushed and for the gels, they get so crumbly and never dry and leak. This product is so easy to use and by far, the best scar product no questions. it smells like nothing and the chapstick type container is awesome. also have sensitive skin and have never had any reaction to it.

Product as expected

I had 2 spinal fusion surgeries in 1 year. I tried various brands of silicone scar tapes, gels and lotions with varying success. I then tried this stick. I was pleasantly surprised by how well and quickly it worked. I don't know why it was so effective, but perhaps because it's a stick style, it doesn't rub off onto clothes that easily and has the time to work longer than other styles. I've read that the silicone tape is the best to use, but I found it too sticky and difficult to use and reuse. I used the stick as recommended daily and am pleased with its effectiveness.

I have had 2 fusions in the last 2 yrs. I bought this to use on the first scar. It worked great! I couldn't remember the name of it but I knew I still had the stick somewhere but couldn't find it so i tried 2 other scar reduction products, 1 a cream and the other silicone sheets for the 2nd surgery which unfortunately was higher on my neck. Neither did much to reduce the keloid I got from this surgery but i used them anyway. I came across the Prosil while looking for something else. I decided to give it a shot. I can't believe how much smoother and smaller my scar is after 2 weeks! And that it still worked after 2 years! Great product! I will be telling my surgeon about it. He had remarked that I wasn't healing as well as I did the last time.

I would give it 0 stars is I could. I bought it for my son’s lip. He broke his lip and got stitches. I wish I had never bought this cream. I bought it thinking it would be better for being more expensive. I applied it regularly following the indications because there is nothing I care about more than my son and I was really worried about the stitches leaving a scar. It did not work and not only that, it got worse. I am sure it got worse because of time passing by not receiving the right treatment. I also applied sunscreen but the scar became a noticeable scar. I am very disappointed with this product not only because I wasted money but also because I waisted that precious time to treat my son’s scar with something else. Do not buy and waste your money and precious time like I did. I deeply regret buying this product.

Too new to know if it works

Great product for scarring. No scent, very easy to rub onto the skin. Be a little bit gentle when you apply, or the tip could break off, as a small piece broke off of mine. I just stuck it back on top, and it was fine. IMPORTANT: My doctor said I should use a good zinc-based sunscreen over the layer of PROSIL when I go outside--even if the scar is covered by a T-shirt, which is only an SPF of 5. I've been using Elta MD sunscreen.

I've only been using this for a couple of weeks and it has noticeably reduced a keloid scar caused by a nose piercing gone wrong, which I then made worse by performing home microdermabrasion, that also went horribly wrong and left me with a skin infection and a huge dent in my nose... the keloid grew back, but, this product has made the bump almost flat. Very pleased with the results and speedy delivery. Thank you! This has given me my confidence back 💖

Super quick delivery. It’s the same size as a tube of chapstick, super convenient and easy to use. I’m using it for post op incisions to support the scar healing. Highly recommend as an alternative to tape!
