Helpful but I think it is somewhat pricey
I liked the book.It covers math, reading, science and social studies.I recommend it for preschool age up to 1st graders.Definitely something to get the early age for thinking skills.I do think it was a little pricey. My book came a little bent. I might pull out the pages and laminate them to make the book last.

Wonderful educational book
I got this book for my daughter who is in pre-K. Some questions are hard some are easy but they all help her to develop her critical/logical thinking. As an adult I also enjoyed reading it to her and I bought the other book in the series too. Both books are great gift for kids and have around 100 pages of fun and interesting questions with very easy to understand drawings. Glad I got it.

Great book!
We originally bought the Pre-K book for our 5 year old and she liked it so much we purchased this one too! It makes her think creatively and is definitely building her critical thinking skills. This is a great book for small children with their developing minds. Highly recommend!

Disappointing after Mind Benders / Beware "Good Condition" Used Items
In terms of content, I give this workbook about a B-. A lot of the clues and puzzles are rather poorly worded and unnecessarily ambiguous, which is not a great introduction to puzzling for a 5 year old. I had to look up a few very misleading answers and I am a 35-year-old lifetime puzzler/logic problem worker. In terms of learning logic progressively, the Mind Benders books cannot be beat! We ordered this because we had completed that one and were looking for more/similar without trying to advance to a grade level beyond my son's understanding. This was just so-so. Further, beware that when purchasing a "good condition" item (no further details were given with my description), that includes items that may have marking on or light writing on every. single. page. This may work okay for a college textbook, but when the marks are un-removable and plentiful, it renders a preschool kids' workbook tedious and frustrating at best, useless at worst. Spend the extra $3-4 to get a new one. It will save everyone time and frustration. The Mind Benders books are only $9.95 new!

Good for Kindergarten
My 6-year-old really enjoys this book. We use it in our kindergarten homeschool as part of his critical thinking work. Some of the pages are challenging and some are very simple. It's teaching him to slow down, listen, and work through the questions in a logical way. It's one of his favorite things!

A good book
It is a good book. My 5 and a half year old girl likes it. Even though some of the questions are not difficult for her, some can be a little tricky. It is a good exercise for kids to learn to take a moment to read the question carefully and use their reasoning ability to figure out the answer.

We bought this book (used) in great condition, my 5 year old absolutely loves it
We bought this book (used) in great condition, my 5 year old absolutely loves it. It took her a page or two to grasp the concept, but after that she was on a roll. She is currently in kindergarten so we got the k-1 version, which was a great starter book. Overall this book is a great buy for the price and quality of material.

Love it!
Based off reading a few of these, I can see that it requires some background knowledge for your child to complete. I like the set up and how it requires logical thinking.
