I had a bacterial infection which resulted in me forming an abscess. Had to have it drained, so on so forth. The tegaderm bandages the hospital sent me home with were too small and fell off easy due to my wound having been on my inner thigh, and the gauze pads were just too thick, even when trimmed. I bought these and they did the trick. Made my healing process go by quicker and smoother. Quite pleased. :)

These wound covers are very helpful in the shower. They work best on clean dry and hair-free skin. My husband has a stomach tube so I keep the area around it shaved and use these to cover his site for a shower. They work very nicely and I'm much more confident when he showers that we can keep the site dry. I towel dry the area before we remove it. In almost a year of using these, we have had one time when there was some leakage and that was very minor. For the shower I highly recommend. They should not be used for a bath or swimming -- they are not that water tight.

These work great! I had shoulder surgery and had to cover the bandages to shower. These adhered really well (almost too well) and worked perfectly. Only downside is, it was a little difficult to apply the first time because taking the backing off was a bit difficult and the product will stick to itself making it useless but, after the first time, all was good. Overall a very good product

Last week I took a bad fall and tore the skin off my left arm just below my elbow. The ER gave me some of these patches to take home. They're water proof and keep bacteria out while allowing what appears to be very fast healing. I ran out last night and was desperate to get more so I quickly ordered some and have been tracking the delivery with great interest. They said they would be here by 6:30 but I was THRILLED to hear a vehicle stop and my gate swing earlier! They're here!! I had the ointment out and one of the patches on my arm before the vehicle was out of our parking lot. These are slightly larger than what I got from the ER so less risk of ointment getting under the adhesive. I LOVE THEM!! Keeps a horrible scab from forming and cracking when I bend my arm.. I can shower and sleep more comfortably since the patch moves with my arm. Not bulky under clothes either. Thank you to whomever developed these!EDIT: AFTER USING THESE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS: These are still good but they don't stay on as well as the 3M patches. I wake up and they've curled up and pulled away which sometimes causes my area to have become roughed up and bleeding. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't have been so anxious to get them and would have searched for 3M to have the exact ones I had from the ER. All in all the transdermal patches are so much better than any kind of bandaid they are still a blessing to have though but the 3Ms just worked better over night etc,

These work perfect for my husbands diabetic sores on his calf......he can take a shower now without hanging his leg out of the shower.....they are definitely waterproof and easy to put on.....it can take abit to take them off because they completely blend into his leg......lol....they stay on for at least 3 days maybe longer but I change his every other day......great product

These have been a life saver for me. I wear a medication patch that is supposed to stay on a week. It falls off regularly even if I try the bad covers they send along. I cut these in half and use one every week. Never had it fall off when using these. I can shower and they do not itch like some of the other kind and they breath.

These are much less itchy than that white medical tape! And they stay on through and after a shower. Buying them in bulk is MUCH more cost effective than buying the small boxes in the local drugstores.

I have no issue with the product doing what it says other than the edges curling up. I have large area to cover. The issue is after I no longer needed them. I kept changing the out every 24 hrs for a few weeks but was left with shiny skin in many areas with slow healing . I realized it was a build up of the sticky residue from the transparent coverings. Layre upon layer of residue. Baby oil helped in some areas but is taking some skin with it in heavier areas, but need to try goo gone. I think there should be e a notification on the product that this probably will happen if used too long.
