WOW I was pleasantly suprisrd
I buy everything gluten free Asian to try and fill the void in my life since there aren’t any gluten free Asian restaurants around me. Normally I see rice noodles and deflate because they’re so boring and blah. But I ordered this anyways with low expectations.Wow I need a thesaurus to find an accurate way to describe my delight at how fulfilling this was. Not only were the noodles exceptional- I would have never guessed they were rice noodles. They have a very different consistency with the kind you buy in the store and soak first. And the seasoning packet was even better than the other gluten free meister soup with the gel- like flavor packet. This soup reminded me of an upscale version of the 4 / $1 soups I grew up with. .Right before I take it off the stove I crack an egg into it and vigorously stir it in so it doesn’t just make a single glob of cooked egg (but some people also like it that way).I have also bought the multipack of noodles without the seasoning and added a second brick to one seasoning packet and shared the soup with a family member who is not gluten free. He loves it as well!Thank you gluten free meister. Please keep coming up with other gluten free items. I’ll most definitely try them all!

No, it isn't Top Ramen, but it works!
I haven't had ramen for about 15 years now. It used to be my comfort food I'd have whenever I got sick, and in university was all I could afford.First the negatives: This isn't the cheap beloved ramen from university. For one thing, it is really expensive. The package has maybe half the noodles a normal ramen does or a little more. They aren't the fun wiggly ones and you couldn't ever crunch them up and put them in a salad like you can with the real ones. They take longer to cook. If you cook them as suggested, you will end up with a surprisingly thick broth in comparison to "real" ramen. I suggest you cook them most of the way then rinse them off and add enough water to make as much broth as you want before finishing the noodles off.Now the Pros: These aren't the "pretend these normal rice noodles are ramen" type noodles in spite of rice being the first ingredient. They aren't the translucent flat things that make me first think pad Thai. The flavour is similar to how I remember the blue ramen (shoyu) flavour packets, but a bit less chemically which I'm quite pleased with. The noodles have a good chew to them. It may not be an exact replica, but it is by far the closest to the comfort food I've been missing. Yeah, you can't try them expecting it to be the same, but if you haven't had ramen n years and miss it, this seriously does the job of filling that hole. Now I don't have to sit drooling slightly resenting the rest of my family when they eat ramen because I'm trying to be nice and not deprive them since I'm the only celiac.

Great for wheat and gluten issues
My daughter loves this as a replacement for regular wheat based Ramen.
