Awesome on my wood floors (and I'm a newbie)
Arrived on-time and leak-free. I recently moved and this is the first time I've had (real) hardwood floors. They're really quite beautiful, but I wanted to find a product that would do 2 things: 1) Give my wood floors a good shine 2) We have 2 dogs and they’ve had a difficult time getting around with our recent transition from carpet to wood floors. So I researched online for a product that would also give a little grip or traction to the wood floors. PLEASE NOTE when I say traction - I do not mean leave a sticky residue behind. After receiving the product and reading the directions, I still had a few questions (mind you, I’m a newbie) about the application process like; what's the best applicator and how to apply the product. So I called Lundmark directly and spoke with a very knowledgeable and friendly gentleman. He suggested the following: 1. After a thorough vacuum or sweeping, mop the floors with a soapy, hot water and allow to dry. He also strongly encouraged me to do another mop-round with VINEGAR and HOT WATER (I mixed 50/50) to remove any cleaning or soap residue that may've been left behind. 2) Allow the floors to DRY COMPLETELY before moving on. 3) Once dry, pour a long "S" directly onto my floors and use a 100% LAMBSKIN APPLICATOR (I used: Applicator & More 100% Pure Lambskin 10" Applicator ) to gently spread the product in the direction of the wood grain trying not to make more than 2 passes over the same area if possible. I must admit I didn't do a very good job of this. Some areas received 3-4 passes, but it worked out just fine. 4) He recommended at least 2 applications, more if desired. However it’s necessary to let the floors dry AT LEAST 30 min between coats. A couple tips I wish I had in advance: - I did 3 applications, allowing a minimum of 1 hour and maximum overnight (for some of the other rooms) dry-time between coats. - My husband didn't realize the floors were drying and walked clear across them with our German Shepherd 15 minutes after I applied the 2nd coat. Miraculously, it didn’t leave any impressions. - Between coats, unscrew and remove the lambskin applicator from the long handle. Generously wrap it in saran or aluminum foil and stick it in the freezer. It’ll prevent it from drying out and when you’re ready to use it again remove it from the freezer ~10 min before you’re ready for your next coat. I left mine in the freezer overnight and allowed about 20 minutes and it worked like a charm! - When you’re all finished, thoroughly wash the applicator with soapy water and lay it flat to dry out of direct sunlight. I took the AFTER picture the following day at the same time of day I took the BEFORE picture to provide a fair comparison. It’s been several months and I’m still very happy with the outcome. There’s no yellowing or discoloration and it really does give our dogs additional traction. Furthermore, there is NO STICKY RESIDUE! After my initial research, I found that quite a few products that claim they won’t leave a residue, but reviewers say they do(?) Either way, I’m very happy with Lundmark’s Anti-Slip Floor Wax.

Beautiful Finish, that is durable and so easy to apply
I'm not one to get wow'd by a product these days, I've cleaned and painted and waxed and sealed and refinished all kinds of floors and surfaces. This product, stunned me with how good it is. I decided to test it out on something before I laid it down to the floor. I tested it on a old 1950's dining room table I have, that has seen just absolute abuse over the years. Its so dull, that I wasn't even concerned if it would work, just that it would not ruin the finish in the process. After 4 coats, I swore there was a shine on that table that hasn't been seen in 30 years. If I had properly sanded, prepped and stained the top of the table before doing this, it would look like a million dollar finish. This product is absolutely the best wax product I have used, and I've used a lot of them having owned 2 Victoria Era Craftsman homes, there's a never ending love affair with me and hardwood floors, and this wax, makes that appreciation better than I have ever experienced. Don't question it, just buy it, I promise you, you will not be disappointed. I applied with just a dish rag, nothing fancy here. I am doing the floors with a professional mop pad style and I expect ease of use and a nice finish after 4-5 coats.

Works well, a good choice for a Wax Finish. It's shiny but not as glossy as epoxy.
I had problems with my stained concrete floors that I had an epoxy finish on. I loved the beauty of the shine, but we had some kind of phosphorus white powder coming through the concrete and it peeled up the epoxy. We finally started to just scrape up all the epoxy but I wanted the same finish and shine on my floors. I found this wax after much research and reading reviews. I have used it on all the areas we peeled off epoxy after proper cleaning and drying. At first I wasn't sure it would shine enough after coat one. But after coat two it looks beautiful, not quite as shiny, but it also has the anti slip feature. I'm sure if I used 3 coats it would shine even more, but for now, we're sticking with two coats. It has held up well with normal sweeping and floor cleaning. When we have to scrape more epoxy I'm glad I have this to replace the finish. Follow the directions because you do not need much for coverage and I used a Bona floor mop with the wool fabric mop head for even spreading and no streaks. When I was done I just dropped it in the washing machine. After 30 min it's dry enough to touch but I waited an hour before putting a second coat on.

Outstanding!
Ok, I have got to tell you this product rocks! We used the labeled floor cleaner before we used the wax and wow! What a transformation to our Pergo laminate flooring. You have to follow the manufacturer's steps and it will (well it did for us) transform your floors. We applied the wax liberally with a terry applicator on a swifter mop. One of us applied (if you have ever wax floors after school lol) while the other poured small amounts in front as we worked through the floor. We are amazed at the results and will be using this product from now on! You won't be disappointed if you: 1) clean the floor; 2) rinse; 3) use the labeled cleaner; 4) rinse, and 5) apply wax. That is the process we used. We applied three coats. We had floor fans and it dried in about 15-20 minutes. From start to finish it took about 1.5 hours to do whole living room hall and dining room. The longest time is making sure the floor is clean and rinsed. The application is fairly straight forward and the wait during the drying time is expected.
