I am already seeing results in those who are using this book. I bought one for every member of my family.

Becoming a Christian, having come to know Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, came with a lot of religious baggage and ignorance. I understood that being a disciple of Christ was something I had to become through piety, scripture memory, street-corner evangelism, attending every church function, and so on. The list of things to do were impossible for me achieve, so I figured I'd be a follower but probably not ever make it as a disciple of Christ.But that's not what the Bible says, and I didn't slow down enough to really understand what Romans chapter 12 says until now.This book helps me LEARN not only what Romans 12 means but how I can LIVE it out in my every day life. It helps me see that a disciple is an ongoing process of surrendering different aspects of my life to God's will. I now get how investing time in the Word is about allowing it to teach me God's ways. I see how highly God values everyone... and me. It helps me understand how to show love to God and others by choosing to serve those around me, especially when it's not convenient. And I better get how my life isn't about "getting my way," but to show God's love -- even when I've been wronged at levels that I cannot describe.The keys this book made available to me are: 1) The answer to what a disciple looks like is in God's Word and clearly summarized in Romans chapter 12; 2) it's not about doing, but about being; 3) it's impossible to become a disciple of Christ apart from His transforming power; and 4) I AM a disciple of Christ with a plan to continue becoming more and more like Jesus.Oh... and I'm not a big reader, but the way this book is laid out made it so I could take it at a pace that fits who I am.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK to all Christians -- to all followers of Christ.

Just the intro and first chapter changed so much of me. Talking about life changing and understanding, this is the one! Makes you drop all the religious junk and see God for who He really is and what He wants from us. someone who cares deeply about you and will let you see change!

The book was in great shape except the back page of the cover was already detached! I'm 100% sure when the item was packaged they placed the back page separately because it was already detached from the book. Shame on the vendor to allow their shipping staff to deliver a product that is damaged. There was no way it could have been through the process of arriving to my home because of the shipping bag it was placed on. The book was tight.However, the book is amazing! I do recommend but make sure to use another vendor. This one doesn't care to provide a good product to its customer. I enjoy reading the book, I'm on the last chapter. It has blessed my life!
