Does the shoulder strap slip off your shoulder when you wear the bag?

I've had it a couple days and I walk to work and have only used the shoulder strap and it won't slip off if you're wearing it across your body messenger-bag style. The purse is heavy enough that it holds it on just fine. I'm 5 ft 3 in tall, and with the strap on the smallest hole setting size-wise, slung across my opposite shoulder from the bag, the bag hangs just a little below the highest rise of my hip, for a comfortable gait walking along city sidewalks.

The product name says it's a crossbody shoulder bag, but I don't see a crossbody strap in the photos. Does it come with a longer strap? Thanks!

yes there is a longer strap that comes with the bag. you might have noticed some comments about an odor - my bag smelled of a packing which soon disappeared once out of the wraps. I have gotten so many compliments on this bag (it is wonderful)

What is the length of the handle drop on this bag?

If you are speaking of the rounded handle,when dropped down it is 8 inched from the top of the zipper down to the point where the handle falls.With the sam handles up they are 6 and 1/2 inches at the highest arc of the handle down to the zipper. And mine had a very slight smell, nothing to worry about as this bag is made of very good leather and comes treated, such as good leather should ,and it comes with a special bag to keep the leather in good condition. I say this because I use a lot of leather, my boots, horse halters, horse tack saddles and leather furniture.

Does this bag have a fishy smell? Is it really leather or faux leather?

No fishy smell. It's cowhide leather, and smells like it, but not intensely so. It's a very thick, naturally pebbled leather that has been maybe a little heavily treated when it comes the finish, but I expect it to wear very well and gain its own patina unique to my bag through use. Like any real leather product, when you get it new, it will be stiff and require some breaking in, but that will just give it its own character, unique to how you're using it/what you're putting in it. Right now my bag smells faintly of cow. It's not overpowering. If you're sensitive to natural material and the way it smells, this isn't going to bowl you over by any means.

Great quality leather purse

This purse is very well made, soft leather, nice silk lining, stitching and hardware great quality, handles are sturdy and option of adding the cross body strap, best purse I've found for holding all my items! Most beautiful purse I've ever bought!!!

Lovely purse!

First impression - love

I just got this in and I love this bag. Perfect size and I love the hardware. It has the genuine leather smell right out the bag. It has a center pocket that’s attached at the bottom, which I prefer over the detached middle pocket that some brands do, and the lining looks nice. I can’t speak to the durability yet but I’m looking forward to using this as my daily bag.

Lasted less than a year

It was pretty good until the zipper broke. I had it for less than a year. For the price, I should've been able to use it for a few years.

Best Purse
