Very good display with a few minor flaws
This is a pretty great display, and is exactly as advertised. The build is pretty solid, made of smooth aluminum, and the device is very light as well. There are also screw holes on the back for mounting. It takes HDMI, DVI, and VGA inputs. At 1920x1080 on HDMI, the picture is sharp, bright, and clear, although it was initially a bit washed out, but turning on gamma in the settings fixed that. Speaking of the menu, this device comes set to Chinese out of the box, although you can switch to English pretty easily (your HDMI device needs to be plugged in):1. Press menu2. Press down three times3. Press menu twice4. Navigate to English using the up or down buttons5. Press menu to set to EnglishFor reference, using HDMI, the menu has:Picture > Brightness, Contrast, Gamma[Postition > Phase, Clock, H. Position, V. Position]Color > Color Temperature, [Red, Green, Blue]OSD > Horizontal, Vertical, Transparency, OSD Time OutSetup > Language, Mute, Input, DCR, Display Size, ResetIt comes packaged with a flat HDMI cord and a two piece power cord, which is pretty long. It also comes with a stand, the screen doesn't fit into the stand all the way, but it still works well enough. The speakers can go surprisingly loud, although the quality is decent at best, but they work well enough and it has a headphone jack so it shouldn't be an issue.Overall, this is a quality product, and with a great 1080p display, it is well worth the money

Surprisingly excellent picture for the price
I am quite shocked at just how nice the picture is on this little guy. I was skeptical that it would have a decent viewing angle with past experience with other similar monitors. Honestly the picture is better than other more expensive USB powered mini screens and it is1080p to boot. I got it mainly for portable gaming on my consoles and I am happy to report there is no noticeable lag whatsoever. It's surprisingly light but at least the casing is metal. The buttons on the back are quite tiny and it's a bit awkward to go through the settings without being able to feel them. My only concern would be the buttons or inputs getting damages since they stick out and they do feel a bit cheap. Also, the included stand is pretty bad (the bottom lip isn't really deep enough to have it sit securely). For the price, you can't beat this thing. It feels a bit cheap but it packs the picture quality I wanted into a tiny screen. Would definitely buy again.

Excellent except for headphone jack
The quality of the picture for the price is amazing. I am using this monitor for a dedicated steam link in our living room and for that purpose it works great. As other reviewers have pointed out, it is very light. The model I received does not have a DVI port, but I did not expect it to. Just wanted to point that out as another reviewer mentioned a DVI port. I like how you can quickly access the brightness and volume controls. Pressing Down first activates the volume controls and pressing Up first activates the brightness controls. The reason for 2 stars is the headphone jack does not work on my unit. I received it today and while it has had brief spouts of working, it does not consistently mute the speakers and activate headphone audio. I tried several sets of Bose headphones and nothing worked. If you are just looking for video I think this is great for the price. However if you are expecting to use this with headphones, I think the quality of the headphone jack would be a concern.

Was buggy for almost a year and then died completely.
This thing stopped working after almost a year of light use. When it worked, it stayed black (off) even when the power was cycled on and an HDMI signal is sent to it. It needed a bright, colorful image delivered via HDMI for the monitor to come on when the power button was pushed. Anything less than a bright colorful signal via HDMI and the unit would not turn on. I bought a second one for a different purpose and had the exact same problem on a different system. It is a design defect and is incredibly annoying. It makes the item difficult or impossible to use for some types of use, so be warned. Other 11-12 inch screens I've used do not have this problem, so you might want to try a different brand if turning the monitor on is important to you.

Out of the box, it will not display HDMI
VERY DISSAPOINTING! Out of the box, I get Nothing but a black screen when attempting to display an HDMI connection from a Raspberry Pi 3 B+. The Pi displays flawlessly on any other monitor to which I connect it using the Elecrow cable. but the Elecrow monitor will not display the Raspberry Pi. I have discovered, however, that the Elecrow monitor will display other HDMI sources. Bottom line... contrary to manufacturer claims for this item, this monitor does not appear to be compatible with the Raspberry Pi 3 B+!

Lightweight and flat. Travels well.
Lovin' it. Needed this as a #2 monitor for travel. Fold up stand is perfect. Very light and the flat back makes packing it in my laptop bag super easy.It would be really great if it had a protective hard cover for the screen for travel. I'm improvising that.It is about 1 inch thick. If you're using it with a laptop, suggest ordering a 1 foot HDMI cable at the same time. It comes with a 5 foot flat cable. That's a bit much for my needs.

very fragile
at 1st the unit is great I like the resolution and picture (the contrast ratio could be better), the metal body, the connection ports est... The down side and the reason I give it one star is because after only one use the screen cracked and is unusable. Amazon on the other hand was wonderful and gave me a full refund even after the 30 days so bravo to them. Shame on Elecrow for making a flimsy fragile product in spite of the metal housing. I bought a second one because I thought it was my fault in handling the 1st unit but when the 2nd one cracked after handling it with kid gloves I figured it's in the manufacturing of this model. so unless your going to mount the unit somewhere and never touch it I would recommend looking elsewhere.
