TAHARI Nellie Womens Removable Faux Fur Trim Long Down Coat Jacket Ivory Size L

I’m 5’5” 154lbs and I bought a size large, which is my usual size. In “Pale Oak” color. I bought this coat for an upcoming trip where I will walking around all day at Christmas markets in freezing temperatures and snow. Trying this on, I put on my thickest sweater under it , and it still fit comfortably in my arms and allowed for bend. The fur trim is nice and it snaps onto the hood so you can remove it. The actual hood itself is not removable. The hood is a little big for me but when I put a knit hat on my head first, it held it right where I needed it to be. I like that it will keep the wind/rain and cold off my face. I don’t like the draw tie on the hood, but that’s really not an issue for me. The coat zips up completely as well as additional snaps all the way down to the bottom. It has a kind of vest that’s built-in that also zips under the coat for extra warmth. The vest is not removable. The zippers function as should. The sleeves inside are shirred elastic, loose enough to not be restricting, but keep the rain/snow out. The pockets are lined with a fur type fabric and feel really nice and warm. The actual coat is lined with a polyester acetate I believe, very nice and silky feeling. There are no inside pockets. The stitching seems well done. And the coat does not seem cheaply made. It is a nice weight; Not too late and not too heavy. I ran one sleeve under the faucet to see if it was waterproof and the water immediately beat it up and ran off, and I was able to dry the coat with a towel with not having any residual water on the coat. I held up the white envelope against the coat so you can see the color. It is a little darker than I expected, as it looked more white on line, but I like it. I am quite sure it will keep me very warm.

I love this coat. It is a champagne color not off white as pictured, but I like this color even better. It is warm and long for cold northern IL winters.

I love this coat. It fits perfectly. It’s warm and long but not binding. I would recommend if you get cold easy (like me). I did buy a large because I wear bulky sweaters under the coat.

Gorgeous jacket, but not white. Out of the bag, this immediately looked blush. But not in a cute way. I was so disappointed because this was my big Christmas present and it was not at all the color that was advertised online. I have almost never had that happen to me! I decided to give it a week to see if it would grow on me. Sadly, it did go back. Pros : beautiful fabric, satin, smooth, faux fur very luxurious. Very warm and a great value for the money. Mid : It has a double zipper, which I absolutely hate to zip, but when you are walking, you are grateful to be able to open up the bottom! Con : color was pinkish. Video was shot in a green room which neutralized the pink undertones.

This is a beautiful coat but the one that I received has one of the catching zippers spoke of in the reviews. Since it is an often returned item, partly because of the zippers, it seems they would make sure they are not shipping out anymore with this defect. I guess they are just re-shipping the returned ones??? I decided to keep mine because it is beautiful and well made aside from the zipper, ......which we all know is quite important in cold weather, and pay someone to stitch back the fabric where it catches.

Needs more room as it's a tight fit for the sizing.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It's warm, it's stylish. I just love it. I get tons of compliments, and I feel like a million bucks when I wear it.

I was so excited for this coat, but when I received it, I was so disappointed. It seems very well made, the pockets are even lined with soft lining. But the color is so off from the pictures. I was thinking & hoping this would be a gorgeous “Winter White”, (I believe it’s called “fair Oak” or something) & I assumed it would look like the color looks in the pictures, but when I received it, it’s a shiny (light?) “Gold” color & almost has kind of a metallic look to it. 😢. Nothing like the pictures. & the fur on the collar is not long & wispy, it’s short. Anyways, I’m just so disappointed because I really thought I would love this coat. It seems as though other people thought they were getting a Winter White color as well, after reading the reviews. Maybe next year they’ll make this in a beautiful winter white as it appears in the pictures.

I like this coats height and color and keep me warm in the cold days
