I bought this for an 80 year old family member. She needed it to get up into her adjustable bed. I was very pleased with how sturdy it was! The gripper on the top was so reassuring that she would not slip. The handle makes it so much better for her to have something to hold on to as she steps up or down. The step is adjustable too, that makes it perfect for people of all heights, she is very short, so she was very pleased with this feature. My 17 mo. grandson enjoyed climbing on in, sitting on it and going through the handles. Even after climbing all over it, it never tilted or fell over. I may be ordering him a step of his own next! Heavy enough to remain solid on the ground. It was the perfect step, ideal for all ages, in my case from a 17 mo. old to a 80 yr.old. I recently had my home destroyed by a fire. I am in a temporary apartment complex and had to purchase a new bed. I am 70 years old, arthritic, and 5’6”, and have trouble reaching the high kitchen cabinets, closet shelving, and even my new bed! The AdjustaStep Step Stool came in a compact box, had clear instructions with pictures, and took two minutes to assemble.Both stool and handle can be adjusted 3 ways and it is extremely sturdy and stable. I purchased the adjustable step stool with a handle to help my 98 year old mother get into my SUV. I am so happy that I did because I have discovered so many other uses for it. While I didn't think that I needed a step stool with an adjustable handle, I tried using it myself and discovered how much safer and more secure I felt. The step stool is easy to move from one place to another and the height of the stool and the handle are very easy to adjust. It is a well designed and quality product that I am sure I will use often.

This step stool is the best!!! It was very easy to put together. We're using it for our 26 month old for potty training. I love that I can adjust the height to make it easy for her to step up but still have it tall enough for her to get herself on the toilet. We have a comfort height toilet and the plastic 2-step step stool (for kids) made us nervous that she would fall turning around on it (which would have happened many times if we weren't there). This stool has a wide step and a handle that helps her get up and down but also blocks her from falling and hitting her head on the bathtub. The handle also makes it easier to move when I need to use the toilet instead of bending over to move the kids step stool which we now keep in front of the sink so it doesn't have to move. I also love that I can use this step stool. This is the best purchase I've ever made!!! Big relief knowing that my toddler is safe going to the bathroom!

Bought this because my bed is higher than most & I have joint problems. Climbing on was a problem when tired. With this I can get on the bed w/ ease. Wobbles just a tad, but sturdy.Could adjust the height to what I needed, & can change it if I need it for something else later.Originally wanted the handrail to allow me to move the stool w/o having to bend down (back pain), like my other stool, but find myself using it as a hand rail! Very convenient & helpful in finding where the step is when you cannot see it (like when you are backing down or on the bed).NOTE: Instructions fail to mention that there are no separate screws or pins. Retractable pins on main body of stool.

I originally ordered this product for family/friends staying overnight for easy entry into the claw-footed tub (in the only bathroom) in our temporary rental house. Then, this week I ended up with a pinched nerve - sciatica - and this product saved my life! The stool is wide, with a non skid rubberized top. The handrail can be attached or taken off, whichever suits you. The legs (and attachment) are super easy to put together - just four buttons that slide and lock into one of the four holes in each leg - so the height from floor to step can be adjusted. Highly recommend for every age - kids to the elderly, healthy or infirmed!

Bought for my dad who has balance issues because of diabetic nerve damage in his feet and Alzheimer's. He was falling down while getting out of bed.This aid allows him to have a handle to grab for balance when getting up, as well as the stepping-stool help. So far, it's working as he hasn't had any falls since purchase.The height adjustment for the stool legs came in handy when we bought him a new mattress that was a much lower profile than the old one.I thought it was ridiculously pricey for such a simple and basic item, and I wish they would make these handicap aids in some more attractive colors that aren't such an eyesore in a home environment, but oh well. It is what it is, and dad's safety is what is really important.

I'm a disabled senior & needed a stool that I could rely on. This stool is exactly the right one. The best thing that sets it apart from other stools, is that the height is adjustable. It's very solid & sturdy, yet not too heavy for me to move around. The adjustable handrail allows you to set it at the correct height & hold on for safety. I'm very happy with my purchase.
