Q: Will this fit a dewalt 20v max SDS rotary hammer drill with 60v batteries and a charger in it?

Found the interior dimensions - 14 in D x 6 1/2 in H x 21 in W - there are a bunch of different 20V SDS rotary hammers, so you'll have to figure out if your specific model will fit. I have a DeWalt DCH133B and that model would fit in the case along with a charger and probably 2 60V batteries, along with a selection of bits. The organizer cups would have to stay home.

Q: Whats the latch in the middle of the lid on top for?

It is for possible use with still in development products.
