It has a huge tank and it can function unattended for a very long time. If you have enough litter boxes at home, or have a cat that takes care of its business outside, you can be away from home for a couple of weeks without worrying about starving cats. While you're at it, get a water fountain too. Your cats will love you for it.

Very happy with the feeder! A great option for a single-cat household. The setting-up process is a bit of a hassle but the machine is always responsive so you get used to it. I only wish that the portions were a little smaller so that I can have more control over the quantity of food. I find that for my cat, 1 portion is too little but 2 portions is too much. Nonetheless, once you figure out an overall system for your cat's food, it works out.

Worked fine for 2 years and all of a sudden started giving an error and continously beeping. Tried to reset it, but it just starts beeping again.

I absolutely loved this product. I bought the 5l to test it and now I want to buy more 2 of them. Unfortunatelly the price increased around 30% in only 2 months! And this model is not even the one with wifi, which makes less competitive in relation to the ones with this feature. It's a shame. The product has good quality.
