Black Mountain | Guitar Slide Ring | 3 Sizes

It took a bit getting use to but now it really is an addition to my bottleneck. I can play two strings with it and it fits so that I can play open and full bar chords. For me it offers some nice additional ideas that can easily brought out. It really has its place in slide playing

I have dabbled at slide guitar but am still a very raw novice. I wish slides were easier to figure out what size finger they really fit. (like a ring size reference or something). I don't think I have fat fingers but from previous experience buying regular style slides I decided to order an extra-large Black Mountain. That was a good decision. But I wonder how people with thicker fingers than mine manage. Anyway, I found the Black Mountain to be a bit heavy initially but their insert advised practicing with it for 50 hours to get it feeling natural. I haven't gotten that much time in but it is feeling better with each use. I wish it was a bit wider and a bit lighter. But that's probably my inexperience showing. I'm not unhappy with it. Actually, using it has made using the regular slides a bit better.

The slide is very handy and can be worn on almost any of three fingers. It works the best for single string leads and easily transitions back to fingerpicking.

Love the concept but it’s very heavy to the point where it’s not practical to try and play either regular fingered notes or to utilize the slide

This slide allows you to fret with all fingers on left hand while wearing slide

Comfortable to wear, when you learn how to use it well it sounds great
