Q: does the unit stand alone or does it come with some kind of atachment to door or wall.

As this is one of our Full Body devices, we recommend buying one of our stands to go with it as that way you can lay on the sofa or in bed and start your therapy session. You can hang them somewhere in your house though as it has a hanging unit you can attach out of the box.

Q: What distance would you need to lay for optimum full body results and how long you use each day? How many leds? what frequency does operate? Thanks

About 6 to 8 inches. Nice and warm. We use it every other day for about 20 minutes a session

Hi, you can order both through Amazon. Sometimes they will arrive together, but there is a chance they will arrive in separate shipments. You will be notified before they are delivered. We can't control this I'm afraid. Sorry, we can not provide an assembly service.

Q: Has this device been tested using a spectrophotometer to certify the 630nm and 830nm operating parameters for the two sets of lights?

You would have to ask the seller for that information. All I can tell you is I have had 19 sessions with it so far, that would be 10 minutes shining on my front and 10 minutes shining on my back, that's torso and legs so a full session lasts 40 minutes. The effects are subtle but amazing, as you get older (I'm 64) over the years the aches and pains mount up like a pile of match sticks one by one. This device is starting to remove those match sticks, also in general I feel much more relaxed, just today I noticed that my feet feel really warm, this is probably due to improved circulation. I don't know what the exact wavelength of light is but whatever it is its certainly doing the trick. I would highly recommend it.
