Cotton feel to piping.
I used this when making slip covers for sofa. Very good quality. This roll was plenty enough for me for an 8 foot sofa with 3 seat cushions and two back cushions, and decorative at arm rests. The amount would not be enough for me to use on matching love seat so I ordered another roll. Has a cotton feel.

Great buy
These are a much better by than buying the small packages at the store. I like that I I can use one long piece for the larger projects like pet beds, etc., without having to piece together several of the small packages. Mandela crafts makes a great quality product and I buy these big rolls and several colors to have on tan for my sewing project.

Just as described
It was easy to use and ivory was true to color and size. Great price for the amount on the roll. Width was a little smaller than I thought (my fault for not looking at the size closer) but worth the money and worked out great for what I needed.

Woeful misrepresentation
Product is misrepresented in a few ways. After I touched it I decided I need to look at reviews because cotton is not sharp, nor shiny. First, The roll contained 38.7 meters, it is advertised as 50 meters. This is well beneath the +/- 10% industry standard for such things. My first measurement showed a little over 42 yards, so I pulled out a more accurate measuring tool and re-measured.I read a review that mentioned shrinkage causing puckering issues on the project, I unspooled mine and washed it. After untangling, I re-measured again. 36.35 meters. This is 9.4% shrinkage. Wow, yeah, that's going to cause a problem. So, back to the sharp and shiny "cotton" (outer layer)... It catches fire fast and produces a large flame, maybe cotton. It stinks of paper and chemicals, maybe treated/coated cotton. However, it leaves behind this smelly sticky curl which doesn't fit cotton OR polyester. The description on this listing shows "Material: Cotton" and "Fabric Type: polyester, cotton". I have no clue what that outer layer of fabric was. It is a very low thread count. It burns partly like cotton, partly like acetate, not like polyester (no drippy shiny globs). The inner layer was likely 90% or greater cotton, it had a little synthetic something. However, the spool says it's just Polyester, which it is not. What is this stuff made of? Seriously, what is it?Why do you spool only around 75% of the advertised product? This is misrepresentation is bordering on fraud due to the quantity error. I don't expect "Mandala Crafts" to be in any of my future shopping carts.

Color not as expected in description.
Returned because color was not as advertised. This is actually more of a dark slate blue.

Good Selection of Colors
I was ordering piping by the large roll but came across this set which was perfect. Only 5 yards each but perfect for decor on totes as I can color coordinate easily and don't have to store large rolls that I might not use. And I can't stand paying the prices at Joann for tiny pkgs of trims!
