First impressions out of the box is the base and mast is heavy duty. The fold down mechanism in the base is like the Attwood version. (Thumb screw does have a lock washer that I might ungrade) Since Attwood no longer sells a 24" inch I went with this one. It has a four screw base vs 2 and 3 screw bases I have seen on Perko and other bands. Some of the reviews say that the light gets moisture in it but that remains to be seen. Will posts of install later.

Bright but gets moisture inside.
Installed the light 2 days ago and it works like it should. Is a really bright light but within 2 days the light is getting lots of moisture in it. Hopefully this doesn't affect the longevity of this light.
