Tesla Model Y Front Seat Trays (2 Trays with Silicone Cases)

These storage bins are perfect! The liners ensure they are quiet. They fit beautifully under the front seats of my 2021 Model Y. They block the open space between the front and back seats, which stops my metal water bottle from rolling all over the car. These are great quality and I’m very happy with this purchase.

I have had my Model Y almost 3 years since June 2020 and really got tired of reaching down and finding the tray I was using sliding back to an unreachable area while I was driving. When I saw a Youtube video recommending this accessory, I decided to give it a try. When I opened the box, I found the tray nicely made, much better than I expected. It fits perfectly and looks like an OEM product! No more frustration in reaching down for my tray of goodies. My wife loves it too!

These under seat storage boxes are well made and fit nicely under the seat....if you have aftermarket floor mats with high edges like I do (Maxpider 3D) they will not slide in and out very easily. You have to raise the seat pretty high to be able to angle and lift the front of the box above the lip of the floor mat so you can slide it out to retrieve your item(s). So depending on how you plan to use these and what type of floor mats you are using will determine how effective these are for you. My hope was that the storage box would be able to slide in and out easily while allowing the higher lip of the floormats to hold the storage box securely to keep from sliding out. For me I wanted to be able slide the box out easily while driving to retrieve whatever (bottle of water, umbrella, etc.) without having to set the seat too high (which is not very comfortable for me). I've had to adjust the seat to a higher level than I normally would for driving in order to access the storage box, but even then the box does take some effort to slide out. If you have OEM floor mats or mats with no/small lip, or if you just want some extra storage and can "lift" the seat when you need to access, these are great and though I haven't tried it, I highly doubt these would slide out unexpectedly from hard braking.

Really great option to make use if wasted soace!

I researched many drawers on Amazon but these never came up in my search. I saw a YouTube video review and specifically sought them out on Amazon. They arrived the next day and I installed them immediately. Right out of the box I knew I loved them. They look and feel like total quality. Installation was as simple as sliding the drawer under each seat. My passenger seat is fully back and the drawer doesn’t show. I 100% recommend these over any other drawer.

I like the fact that it came in a set for both front seats. I like that there’s a silicone liner in the hard plastic trays so if you were to put anything in there, it’s not going to make a lot of noise. You can remove the liner for cleaning too. So far, I’m very impressed and I have had to return many different type of trays because it’s either small, only sold as one item, or cheaply made. The depth of the trays fit perfectly. You can order different trays for the rear part of the seat. Just know these particular trays are only for the front seats. You won’t need to look at any other tray. This is the one.

I have the floor mats that come with the Model Y, and these under seat trays fit very well. They are snug enough that they don't slide around when driving, but the trays pull out easily. The silicon lining is really nice and ensures that things don't rattle around inside.

Easy to install. Will stick out alittle bit if you move the seat all the way back in a Y.
