Great little kit. The rods do work and the cat ball is neat little feature.Things like this are NOT a toy and should be used with caution. Anytime you attempt communication with the paranormal, regardless of the method or technique, you’re inviting a spirit to enter your home or personal domain. If you don’t know what you’re doing, you risk a high potential of inviting something with malevolent intent. I highly advise anyone to please learn methods of self-protection before dabbling with these things. Dousing rods and pendulums are no different than using a ouji board. If you don’t think ouji boards are harmful… then think again. They most definitely are and will wreak havoc in all aspects of your life.For those who know what they’re doing. These are of okay quality. For the price they’re pretty decent and make for a nice small portable set to take along on investigations. Quite often I get good results with the simple old-school methods and devices like these than the high tech equipment my team uses.. The rods are pretty straight and unless you’re too forceful in folding and unfolding them, they should stay that way.Ironically the cat ball has been my new favorite. I keep it permanently situated on a shelf. It goes off every so often, signaling that something wants to communicate. It’s great because I can choose weather to communicate back or smudge the premises. I try to not do anything in my own home, but it’s a good indicator if something has followed be back from somewhere.

My step dad and I used the dowsing rods and they worked well. Easy to use and easy to store. They served they’re purpose and will continue to use them in the future!

As far as being a supernatural instrument, those don't exist. So don't buy this or anything except maybe counseling if you believe these really work. That being said, my daughter wanted to give ghost hunting a "try" and as far as dowsing rods go, these are pretty dope. They collapse like car antenna, and the pendulum pendulums... Not sure what the other thing is. But pretty cool for the price.

This is not what I would consider to be a professional set but it's a good Beginner's set or a good set to practice with before you decide about investing in a real set. It all works well enough anyway because it's more about the energy than the tools so if you are on budget and want a set there is nothing wrong with using this kit as a starting point.The poles are handy because they can be folded up into what looks like a common ink pen but the downside to them is if you aren't careful you could break them or bend them easily if you unfold them incorrectly. They are about as solid as a regular old radio antenna. They swing nicely and feel good to work with. The Pendulums work really well too! They are a better quality item with a nice weight to them and they work just great.The cat toy ball is a new item for me and it's actually a great gadget for your tool kit. I push the button & activate it so it can be triggered and let it sit somewhere safe so it can't be bumped nut if the right energy is around it's great for Spirit Communication because it can be set off to let you know when your "guest" has arrived.Overall for the price and what you get from it I easily give it a full 4 stars. I don't care how advanced you are with spirit Communication you WILL use this set and even someone using it for the first time will get results quickly. I just advise extreme caution when extending the Dowsing Rods.The reason for 4 stars instead of 5? The Rods are copper COLORED not Copper itself. They feel like aluminum to me.

Items were not very durable and one rod bend when I was trying to push it into the pen form.

Ineffective dowsing rods: these rods have a nice design but they’re way too light and dysfunctional to use for practical dowsing. I have used many different types of dowsing rods including even simple coat hangers for professional dowsing over many years and I find this one is too light and the metal insensitive. I would recommend that the company use the same design but make it from more substantial metal. I find it useless.
