Too expensive IMO but tastes awesome!
If you are used to Hershey's chocolate, this will blow you away. Melts in your mouth, I loved every single piece (no coconut or fruit-center pieces, which I don't like as much). But at nearly $3 a piece, it's definitely a once-a-year splurge.

Delicious but unrealistically expensive
First of all, these are absolutely delicious. The pieces melt in your mouth, they have great variety, overall are of the highest quality. But as you can see by my review, I got these for free. And they're the best free chocolates I've ever consumed! But would I pay $65 for these, were I to ever to want them again?Absolutely no way. Maybe it's the fact that I didn't pay the money for these that makes me able to judge them more objectively. You can only go so far with "premium" chocolate before there are diminishing returns and the company is just being greedy. And I have to sadly say that although the chocolates taste great, this company has flown too close to the sun with this asking price.

Expensive but actually worth it
I've been able to try some other "gourmet" chocolate boxes that were expensive but absolutely not worth it, as they were essentially drug store candy with a huge price mark up.These, however, are not like that at all. You can kind of tell from just the box that these aren't from someone trying to rip you off, and then you open it and see the chocolates...and these are definitely higher end chocolates. The quality of the pieces is evident in the looks of them, and then the taste...oh, my. The chocolate is smooth and rich, the fillings are flavorful, and the overall mouth feel is very good. It's really hard to convey quality in a review, and I can just say that I am very impressed with these. They are, however, expensive at over $2 per piece. Do I think that they are worth that much? For myself, no. For a gift, yes. It's a nice splurge to let a loved one enjoy some finer chocolates without them needing to worry or think about the cost.

Beautiful and delicious, a great gift if you really want to spoil a chocolate lover.
No question, these chocolates are really quite delicious. Every bite gives you the sense that they are high quality, and there are no duds here that I've found. The box is quite nice and the description card that comes with it is very easy to read so you always at least have an idea of what you are about to eat. I appreciate that there are at two of each of almost every type of chocolate, so if you want to share this you can do it easily and everyone gets to try to the same thing, equality! However, there's also no getting around the price, as much as we've enjoyed these chocolates I did find myself asking if they're worth 2-3 times the price of lesser chocolates that I've had, and I'm not sure I'm completely convinced. But if you want this for a true chocolate connoisseur, and you want the best quality, the price may be perfectly justified.

Quality.
ππΉ;π±πΏ: A mix of familiar and unique flavors, all masterfully crafted to a superior level.ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββππΊπ½πΏπ²πππΆπΌπ»π:Yes, I experienced major sticker shock when I saw the price of these chocolates.Yes, I believe 99% of people likely shouldn't be spending that much on chocolate.Yet, these are some of the richest, most decadent, aromatic, and flavorful chocolates I've ever tasted. Many of the flavors aren't groundbreaking, but they're executed to an astoundingly impressive degree. For instance, most of the giandujas are incredibly smooth and creamy (though I found the hazelnut to be the least impressive of the three [I hope I counted correctly!]). On the other hand, some flavors were new to my palate and genuinely amazed me. Specifically, the Philippe (the chocolate featuring Belgian honey) is so powerfully floral and flavorful, perfectly encapsulating the term "burst of flavor."I don't give such high praise lightly. I won't claim that the price is entirely justified, but I can say that these chocolates are far superior to more affordable "luxury" chocolate boxes you might have typically received or tried. These chocolates are exceptional; they truly raise the bar.
