Great for single afternoon tea
I drink a lot of tea, especially in an afternoon style way. I dislike drinking it one cup at a time in a standard coffee mug, so I decided to get a personal sized teapot that I could use on my weekends and after work. Gone is the need to get up and reheat water and use a teabag for each serving, I just make a nice pot and sit it down at my computer and pour and sip away the afternoon. It does dribble, but I addressed that problem easily below. To the people complaining when you pour it comes out the top, that is easily corrected. Whenever you fill a teapot, you have to be careful when pouring. The trick when it is full is to only slightly angle it down, and allow some of the tea to drain out the spout into the cup. If you just pour it at a crazy angle like it's nearly empty of course it will spill out the top, start off very slight then add more angle as the tea is dispensed. I have never had a problem with leaking out the top with this pot.I posted a photo of how I use it. The Ulster Weavers Pom Knitted tea cosy is a perfect fit, it goes over and has a little bit of slack. Ulster Weavers Pom Pom a Terrific Knitted Decorative Tea Cosy/Hat It also looks adorable, and reminds me a bit of a circus big top. It also manages to keep my tea hot for about 30 minutes, which is how long it takes me to drink the whole pot. Finally, when you finish pouring and put the teapot back upright, it does have a tendency to dribble. You could avoid that by holding a paper towel or napkin under it, but that isn't very elegant. Instead, use the lemon tea drip catcher. MSC Lemon Tea Drip Catcher - 2 Pack I did not care for the gracie china teacups, they were clunky and heavy and felt like paperweights in my hand, which is not what I want when drinking tea. This teapot, however, is exactly what I want in a teapot. The perfect size for a single person, functional, and looks pricier than what I paid for it.

Very Pretty and Practical
This is a dainty, pretty teapot. It looks more expensive than it is. It was an especially good deal because it was included in the 4 for 3 promotion.I feel it is practical and pretty. Personally, I did not observe any color differences between the top and the pot. Perhaps, I am not looking as carefully as the other reviewer. The word petite is used to describe this pot, but don't mistake it for one of the very small teapots. It does hold 3 cups, which for me is good.It is dishwasher safe but not microwaveable. However, since it only holds 3 cups, personally I won't need to microwave it to warm up some tea.

Just about useless
Question. How useful is a tea pot if one cannot brew tea in it? Reason I ask is because that is the case with this tea pot. Where an built-in "sieve" should be is a big gaping whole through which even the largest of tea leaves will go straight into your tea cup. Talk about a failed design. Moreover, it's not even a nice gaping whole; instead it's a whole clearly chipped out after the tea pot was made. That is, it is uneven and has fairly sharp edges. You could probably cut yourself with it if you put your fingers there while washing it. Seriously, who buys a tea pot to use tea bags? I'm disappointed beyond words. Cheap made-in-china stuff. Stay away.

It's Tea Time
I chose this teapot because I loved the demure little rose pattern and it's tradional styling. I also bought the teacup and saucers to match as well. This all made for a lovely gift for my new daughter-in-law.However when the teapot arrived the lid was broken. I quickly returned it and within 2 days it was replaced with a new one, which was fully intact. Although I was disappointed about the broken teapot lid, the return process was super easy and delivery was fast. Great customer service.Amazon!!.

Beautiful!
Arrived in perfect condition and gorgeous! Bought it because I purchased the pink petite fleur teacups and they're very quaint and pretty. The teapot is no disappointment. Love the whole set! Would be more perfect with the milk jug and sugar bowl though!

Would like to receive an explanation
Price discrepancy. I paid $33.00. My daughter phoned me from Winners to say the same 3 cup teapot by Gracie was in Winners at the price of $15.95. Would like to receive an explanation....Its a very practical and beautiful 3 cup teapot. Love the size as it fits under my tea cozy and keeps the teawarm. Its a perfect size for one person who likes a few cups of tea. Was disappointed that it was made in China. The first teaport arrivedrokenand very badly wrapped. What a waste. Second one arrived intact but but not well packed and not even indicated "fragile".
