I installed these bags late in the fruit season to reduce losses due to varmints like squirrels and birds. Used them on apple, pear, and Asian persimmons. Liked… there was almost no fruit loss from squirrels, raccoons and especially birds on the fruits protected by these bags. …much happier with paper based covers like this. Am concerned about release of toxic substances (plasticizer, catalyst, polymer cross linkers) used to make plastic based (nylon, organza, rayon mesh, etc) bags. These constituents are always slowly released from all plastics and this is much accelerated by sun exposure. …can reuse bags next year. Disliked… it was very time consuming to bag 200 or so fruits. If I do this on more fruits, starting earlier in the season, it will be even more work. But if this prevents insect damage without using chemicals, then it’s worth the effort.

I have fruit trees and these bags are the best for peaches

It’s a waste of my money for this product. It does not protect my fruits from Squirrels. It’s useless.

We need at least twice its size.

I have determined squirrels. some bags got bitten but I actually got fruit this time that made it to maturity!!
