The drawing instructions are clearly shown. I do wish there had been more emphasis on individual botanicals, and not so much on doing arrangements.

To be clear, this book contains no sections on color techniques, focusing on black and white (charcoal and graphite). It is a super little book, easy to carry around with great directions on sketching, toning and shading botanicals, techniques that are beneficial for all types of drawing.New and budding artists should enjoy and benefit from this as well as those like me who have been away from it for a while. I am finding it great for practice exercise and remembering forgotten techniques.

This book has been helpful in my drawing practice. She explains the steps well and helps you consider what to look out for as you progress through the drawing.

Flowers are great still life subjects to draw; many people love looking at them both in person and on paper or canvas. So if you are a flower lover and you like to draw, this is for you!

it has really good information about shading and techniques however some of the examples are just lacking in depth.You draw simple shapes to set up the florals and then bam somehow you have drawn the full thing without a very good explanation but you do get what you pay for.

This book helps with all aspects of drawing a picture or just flowers. I have enjoyed using this book and would say to anyone that likes to draw and just need some extra help, this is the book for you.

At last a book that gives the basics of how to draw flowers.No expectation of drawing experience required, just drawing made easy for first time artists. However, there is also plenty for those of us who can draw. She teaches how to look at the shape of the subject, to break it down into basic parts, and then in easy steps to develop the drawing.I used her techniques to create a sunflower painting as a wedding gift.A great little book, perfect size to put in a bag on field trips. I thoroughly recommend this book.

Small, but perfectly formed. This is a very packed book. Easy to read and follow, ideal for beginners, and thouse perhaps slightly rusty in their technique. Highly recommend this.
