Q: Could someone explain why you would choose V-slot over T-slot?

V-slot is designed to handle wheels and gantry plates for 3d printers and CNC machines (among others) where t slot (I think) is mostly for structure. The v-slot is tapered inward slightly to accommodate the wheels so they ride securely in the slot. Both will work for structure, but t-slot extrusions don’t have the depth to handle pre-made/3rd party gantry plates and wheels.
