Let me start off by saying I have done custom LED controllers since ps3. I've done ps3 controllers, ps4, Xbox one, Xbox 360, psX, etc. I did the whole shebang, soldering wires to LEDs then using a dremel to create mounting positions for said LEDs, hot glue, routing cables through the controllers, then soldering to the motherboard. This is not an easy task especially for a beginner, and you may burn a controller or two on the learning curve. I came across these kits by coincidence and these are amazing. It's basically a 2nd daughter board being installed, CAKE. There are reviews stating issues with LEDs going out, not working properly, staying on, killing batteries, blah blah blah. I'll tell you now, this is 10x easier then actually putting lights in yourself. And yes, things happen and stuff doesn't work right or LEDs go out. It's a common thing when adding modifications. Did the manufacturer do it? No. You did. Expect the worst, hope for the best. I threw in some pics of my personal work in comparison to this kit, the ps5 controller is this kit vs ps4 controller is my custom. I haven't had any issues so far and I've done 4 of them for ps5.

Easy to install. After a week of use the red didn’t work anymore which means half the other colors don’t work as well. Wish I could get my time and money back.

The media could not be loaded. This might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I genuinely had a great time added this on. I added the eXtremeRate Multi-Colors LEDs when swapping it out for the Clear PS5 shell that eXtreme Rate also sells. I decided to knock 2 birds with 1 stone. So I ended up creating this monstrosity of a controller. It looks really cool to see all the colors cycle through. You can have it to one certain color and have it cycle through all of them. You can also have it off if you think it’s too bright. My only problem with it is that obviously the controller will die faster as the light emitting through will drain through the controller like there’s no tomorrow. Fortunately for me, I have my PC and PS5 on my gaming desk/battlestation, so there’s never a problem if I need to charge it. I usually play wired anyways. Just a piece of mind for those who are interested in getting this. It looks amazing and I’m very happy to have tinkered with it.

Well the buttons are beautiful and they did match the theme of the look I was going for but my only problem is that apparently my controller wasn't a standard 20 (instead of the two copper colored wired connections mine were these skinny white ones, it also lacked the the LED input that was supposed to be in the side of the vibration haptic on the left side of my controller) this was discovered in extremrates youtube video, I think I'll have to by a different led kit because my controller seems to be a Frankenstein of different models even though it's from the G.O.W Ragnerok bundle outside of that I love this led button led kit at least for the cool color shift buttons!!!

Install is easy enough with video tutorials. Within 24hrs one of the led's changed colors and it really sticks out. I got the version with the white buttons and sticks. The thumbsticks are clear and not frosted which means the led's pinpoint light will most likely bother you immediately while you are gaming. I frosted the sticks using frosted spray paint which helped a bit, but I found using the stock black sticks while only having the face buttons light up was a bit better for me. This product's quality should put it in the under $20 price range. I don't feel that the product is worth the advertised price.

This LED is awsome. Except they don’t fit the remote models so I don’t recomend buying them unless you have an older model controller. Nothing worst than being excited to install them just to see they don’t fit. They need to make newer ones!!!

I really love Extreme rate Products.I have to search for the videos even though I use the The video instructions on the box They do not go to the videos to install. You have to search for them on YouTube. But they're products are still awesome. Take some time to find the right one.

Kit was supper easy to install simple plug and play I did go for the clear shell and battery upgrade I read reviews were people were having issues with turning the lights off or buttons not working and I uave non of that I recommend watcing the YouTube video and following along step by step I did that and it turned out perfect I will 100% buy again from this compan.

En mi caso llego bien el producto sin embargo a la hora de hacer la instalación me di cuenta que la conexión de los LEDs, que va entre la tarjeta madre y el cableado de botones, no era del tamaño correcto ya que en mi control el espacio entre los pines sujetadores es mayor. Mi control es el CFI-ZCT1W y no es compatible mucho cuidado.
