Electric magnetic gate or metal door release
Magnetic module can be used to release gates, live animal trap doors, or other uses. Worked great for large homemade lost pet trap when light beam was interrupted. Good price and super fast shipping.

As a technician for 15years, this was an easy install. Might be somewhat confusing to the layman figuring out the instructions. But its a decent unit for the cost.

Didn't work.
If didn't have any power. More like 10 pounds of resistance. Plus after a few minutes it would release.

I have a keypad set to interrupt the power on this 350# magnetic door lock on our solar shed. This is primarily to make sure no kids or random folks wander into it give it's our 'power' station essentially. It works great. The install is a little confusing maybe if you're not familiar with wiring and/or DC power but it's not daunting. I was able to easily mount this with the bar on the door itself and the magnet set into the frame on the side. 350# won't stop someone that REALLY wants to get in but it does the job I need it to do just fine. The keypad can be used as an interrupt so that it normally lets the power continue to the magnet but when you unlock it this disables for a short bit so you can open the door. If I need to disable the lock for a time I have a rocker switch inside the door that I can turn cut the power to the lock. Overall great addition to add a bit of security and peace of mind on this shed and either be familiar with DC power or just take a little time and it's a worthwhile install and purchase.
