Reviewer Comment: ACE CASE has been around for many years now.... remember when they first appeared in Florida Gun Shows,, in the '80's I believe,, good quality then and better with time. One Star deducted for Long Term Longevity which is an unknown; however, considering the quality there is no reason for not buying this holster. This holster design by nature of it's design is a little Bulky to be used as an IWB holster, and depending on your firearm choice it may be hard to utilize as a CCW holster for our personal carry guns- BUT this reviewer has used this holster design for that job (This is a question of personal choice; personal choice of firearm to be carried and what the owner's needs are. It has nothing to do with the holster or how it's built. NOTE: Ace Case HAS all the feature built into this design to cover a WIDE variety of situations and a multitude of carry conditions, allowing the holster to be used for an even greater variety of firearms including safety features. The holster may be used for CCW; limitations are the owner's choice that have nothing to do with the holster's design. This reviewer has used this holster for CCW -and personally without the retention thumb strap (see comments below), using the holster behind belt and outside pants. It is the firearm owner's responsibility to know your weapon, it's safety features, and your abilities - it is YOUR responsibility to carry Safely and Legally, not someone else. )PRO: Many holsters from other companies with this same design,, larger generic fit for a wide variety of firearms which lowers owner's holster costs by needing fewer holsters-- fit and finish and general quality is as good or better than holster costing twice as much. Nylon appears to be good quality as described. GUNS THAT DO FIT-- Large frame auto like Glock Model 20 will fit, ... also a Keltec Model PMR-30 will fit (pmr30 is a semi-auto 22mag pistol -- PMR-30 owners...Surprise !! -- the front magazine pouch WILL hold the pmr-30 magazine ) Originally intended a PMR-30 with a flashlight below for this Ace Case holster. Gun with light MAY fit; however that's a - ''maybe'' -- since the SyndeRay CREE flashlight ordered arrived NEW? with a BAD switch and no battery; despite having a battery from other gear--still no joy- the SyndeRay flashlight was junk Sooooo cannot say positively the flashlight will fit- need to update when another flashlight arrives (unlikely to be SyndeRay brand)Reviewers- if saying gun with light or laser works- SPECIFY EXACTLY WHICH MODEL GUN AND SPECIFICALLY WHICH MODEL OF LIGHT or LASER or COMBO WORKS TOGETHER or info is worthless. ...** NOTE ON HOLSTER'S INTERIOR FINISH - holster is lined with soft felt like material which is far far softer than nylon material the majority of holsters in this price range have on the inside- WELL DONE Ace Case ! ) ** Holster is fully reversible for Left Hand and Right Hand Carry; having a belt loop on both sides and the metal clip is easily moved from one side to the other (Caution- make sure the hook on bottom of metal clip is FIRMLY HOOKED on nylon material to ensure the holster doesn't stay with gun while metal clip stays on your pant's or belt). ......** Thumb snap is fully adjustable (and reversible for RH and LH carry). Note: Adjust with an EMPTY gun, ensuring the 'tab' above snap has full tension to medium thumb pressure will undo the snap to draw your weapon--- If Right Handed, anchor the strap on the LEFT side first to velcro on left holster side, then bring the strap with thumb snap sticking straight up, bringing strap over on right side pull tight as anchored to velcro on right side .. Takes longer to write than do but YOUR .. 'WEAPON RETENTION IS CRITICALLY IMPORTANT' . When done you should be able to hold the holster and shake upside-down without the gun coming out of the holster, May sound stupid; however, this reviewer has had students where the strap holds NOTHING and gun falls out. Never put a loaded firearm in the holster until the strap is adjusted, thumb snap works and weapon retention is 100%.CON: None seen at the moment. Only improvement would be a slightly long hook at bottom of metal clip to keep the clip in place... it is possible Not to have hooked if not watching. Once clip is on correctly, doubt there will ever be an issue with coming off. A nylon stretch cord at the rear of holster opening for an additional weapon retention option would be nice.. Not a real Con as it is not advertised with one; the holster if anything is better than it's described. I would prefer a holster similar to this from Elite Tactical Systems, but one is $79 + Tax… Can’t afford it yet. This one is made of lighter materials than I prefer, but should last a couple of years under the usage it see from me. The belt clip is very loose on the holster, which will allow the holster to shift and the clip to wear on the loop that holds it to the holster. I have a very thick buffalo leather belt that should help eliminate some of that looseness. The thumb-break side of the retaining strap is pretty flimsy and I don’t have a lot of faith in it working well in an emergency. I may have a stiffer one on a holster I no longer have a gun for. If I do, I will switch it. If that alone were improved, I would add another star. My Glock 20SF with an Olight PL-3 and my Springfield XD 45 Tactical with the Olight BADLR-600 lumen light/laser work great with this holster. Again my preferred holster is much better quality, but this will work for the budget minded.

This holster facilitates a Sig Sauer P320 M18 with a flashlight and laser combo, DefenTac DF-1061. Also fits Sig Sauer P2022 with the Sig Sauer Red Dot Laser that came with the firearm. Liked this holster so much I bought 2. Well made, great price, and MADE in the USA! Obviously not a fast draw holster (look at the pictures), but it does protect the firearm and covers the trigger/trigger guard.

Sturdy, does not bounce around at the hip. Great comfortable size too. I am 6'00 and weight 260, okay, about 270 (lol) and it fit's great! No bouncing, no flimsy material either or cords, pieces hanging out etc. Fit like a glove for both my 9mm and 40 caliber. Oh, extended mags would fit perfect too. Plenty of room for the magazine boot to stick out and still be able to maneuver the piece in and out of the pocket with out loosing draw momentum. Fe wise. be smart, safety first!

I would not go to combat with this. It is exactly as advertised. an inexpensive little universal holster that holds most subcompacts with optics, light or laser.My XDS .45 comes with a holster that is much higher in quality, but the issue is that I cannot put accessories on the rail and still use it. After exasting myself by searching for a higher quality quick draw holster, I got frustrated and purchased this just to have something. I must admit, it is pretty nice for the price. It works quite well.If you are serious and carry daily, I would try to find something more suitable to an emergency situation. The way this one has Velcro straps and a big snap button is very anti-tactical. you could find yourself in a pickle if you use this. Also, the magazine retention is a little bit iffy. In a situation, you might lose your magazine while moving. If you needed to quickly draw in a situation, the thumb strap is not intuitive or easy to use. I would recommend practicing with it.for going to the range, or having something to store it in, this is quite nice. It is OK if you cannot find something, but this should really just be a temporary purchase that you keep in the safe for anytime you purchase something new and don't have all the accessories yet. Good to keep, just in case.It works as advertised and I feel that the product description is accurate.
