good item. but the printer message says it's not genuine.

DO NOT BUY THIS ... The CANON printers know it is not real!
The prints came out with dark shadows across them after I installed this cartridge! I have a CANON IMAGE CLASS MF445dw. Also the printer informed me that it was an illegal cartridge! So somehow it can tell that this isn't a valid cartridge for the printer! STAY AWAY FROM IT! ( See the picture I took of a blank page that I printed... it should be totally white.... but it has shadowy lines on it!

Waste of time
Do not buy. Works but toner leaks, black spots in right side of paper. Amazon is forcing me to waste my time to send this piece of garbage back.

Compatible claim is wrong.
Even though they claim that the toner cartridge is compatible, it would not work, my Canon printer would not accept the "compatible" cartridge.

Put my printer into "error state"
Whatever you do, don't buy this cartridge. A second after I put it in, the machine shut down and I cannot get it started again even with the old original canon cartridge. All I get is the error message.

Doesn't fit our printer
The Amazon description states this cartridge fits an MF455dw printer. Label on the box doesn't list that model, and the cartridge was not compatible.
