Purchased for my 8 year-old who is into robotics. It’s a great introduction because he’s able to build and modify this bot himself - he can just build and explore movement and mechanics without fussing with tangled wires and mounting servos… they just click together! If you can afford it, get an expanded set because purchasing accessories after can cost more and the starter set is limited in configuration options.

We purchased this product for our10 yr old's birthday and he was really excited to play with it upon opening the box. The preprogrammed bac and boc are a good teaser to get them interested the product and initiate kids curiosity for further exploration into programming. The app is a little clunky and can be confusing to navigate at first and establishing a connection to the Clicbot with iPhone and iPad is not finnicky which is the reason for the 1 start deduction. Overall we have really enjoyed the kit, our biggest regret being not buying the larger set with more modules as we have purchased several more modules within the first few weeks of our original purchase.

The robot is amazing! My son loves it and doesn't let it out of his sight. He loves taking it apart and putting it back together in different positions.

We purchased this robot for introductory lessons with robots for 4th graders and the high school seniors have had just as much fun playing and learning with this interactive robot. The variety of actions and "shapes" the robot can have provide limitless learning. Very fun and creative! The only reason for the 4 stars is due to wifi access at school and needing to update at home, just FYI.

This robot is nothing short of amazing. The preconfigured robots are easy to build and operate but the real fun challenge is in coding your own creations. The possibilities are virtually limitless.

Bought a ClicBot for my kids and the unit does not even charge out the box. Won't even power on after following instructions. Even tried to charge the unit overnight and still nothing. This thing is not cheap ($500 for the starter kit) and to have it not work out the box majorly sucks!Searching online, this seems to be a commom problem with terrible customer support from the manufacturer (keyirobot.com). Search for "clicbot brain dead".Worst Christmas ever!

My kid loves it. I love it. The possibilities really are endless here. Even if you lack creativity to create you own robot configuration, you can easily download a configuration already programmed and Clicbot will show you step by step how to build it.

I ordered the full kit for my son from the Clicbot website. When we finally got it, it did not even work. We immediately tried to contact customer service - it took DAYS to get a response. Finally, they sent us a label to return the "brain" part to them. We did that almost 2 weeks ago, no word from them. No replacement part. Extremely frustrating. I do not recommend buying anything from this company at this point.
